Her daughter Sara and Maria were equally welcoming, making the whole experience feel like staying with friends. This isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s a true home away from home. One thing to note: there are many stairs throughout the property, so it’s not suitable for guests needing wheelchair accessibility. Located just a few minutes from the city center, everything was so convenient—perfect for exploring Florence on foot or by metro. We booked a room with reserved parking, which was tucked inside a private courtyard—very secure and quiet. The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially the guy at reception who was super friendly and even brought his adorable little dog along—so much charm! The room was spotless, and while the bathroom was a bit small, it worked perfectly fine for two people staying only overnight. Breakfast was a generous buffet with plenty of variety—fresh pastries, fruits, coffee, you name it. I’ve been coming to Florence for years, and Hotel Magenta has become my go-to choice every time.
