I'm really glad I found this accommodation in Florence—truly a gem for group travel. It's within walking distance to almost everything, including just a 5-minute stroll to the main SMN train station, making transit super convenient. We traveled as a group of eight and had one extra room unused, which was perfect since the apartment features five bedrooms and four bathrooms: three with private en-suite bathrooms on the main floor, and two more on the upper level—one with an ensuite. The kitchen is well-equipped with a full-sized fridge, oven for reheating leftovers, and even a dishwasher. All essential utensils and dinnerware are provided, so we didn’t have to worry about anything. That said, the unit does feel a bit dated, and cleanliness could’ve been better—there were minor issues like the balcony door not latching properly, which let mosquitoes inside. But the host made up for it with their kindness and flexibility; they allowed us to stay a little longer to wait for our train to Rome, which was incredibly thoughtful. Despite a few small imperfections, the location, space, and hospitality truly made the experience worthwhile. A great choice for families or groups looking for a homey base in the heart of Florence.

Absolutely recommend this gem! The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the train station, making it super convenient for exploring Florence. The room is spacious and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need, including a small kitchen where you can prepare meals using your own groceries or enjoy the complimentary milk, cookies, oil, and fresh fruits provided by the hosts. The highlight? The charming backyard with adorable turtles and friendly cats—such a peaceful retreat to unwind after a day of sightseeing. It feels like staying in a cozy home rather than a hotel. Truly exceptional value and hospitality—definitely returning next time!

We spent three wonderful days here with our family, and it was truly a memorable stay. We've visited before and have always experienced exceptional hospitality—warm, genuine, and attentive. Located in the Castello district, the property offers easy access to Florence’s city center without the stress of traffic or noise. The quiet neighborhood is perfect for unwinding while still being just a short ride from all major attractions. With only a few rooms in a beautifully preserved historic building, the atmosphere feels intimate and authentic. The family-run management adds a personal touch that makes you feel right at home. This is definitely a place we’ll return to—and one I’d highly recommend.

A huge thank you to Eliana — an exceptional host who greeted us with warmth, energy, and genuine professionalism. The location is perfect: just a 15-minute tram ride from the heart of Florence’s historic center, allowing us to leave our car safely in the free, reserved parking area. The room and bathroom were spotless — every detail was thoughtfully maintained. We also had the pleasure of dining on delicious local specialties prepared by Eliana herself, who clearly knows her way around a kitchen. Her daughter Sara and Maria were equally welcoming, making the whole experience feel like staying with friends. This isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s a true home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Florence.

Anna and her husband were incredibly welcoming and made our stay feel like home. We were able to check in early, which was a huge plus, and they gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants—every single one was fantastic. The room itself is spacious, immaculately clean, and overlooks a beautiful garden, creating a peaceful retreat right in the heart of Florence. It’s perfect for families with young kids—there’s plenty of room to move around, and the quiet, green setting makes it ideal for relaxation. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly, especially for travelers looking for a warm, personalized experience with great value.

Staying at this boutique gem in Florence was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a 3-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella train station, making it super convenient for travelers arriving by rail. The host was incredibly welcoming, helping with our luggage, giving us a personalized map of hidden gems around the city, and sharing local tips that made our trip so much richer. From the moment we stepped in, the hotel radiated authentic Italian charm—every detail, from the decor to the subtle scents in the air, felt thoughtfully curated. Our room was spotless, beautifully furnished, and smelled wonderful. Breakfast was simple but delicious, served with a view of the quiet street outside. This place feels like home, yet still exudes character and warmth. If you're looking for a genuine Florentine experience without the hassle, this is it. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Florence, and the Burchiello B&B played a huge role in making it so special. From the moment we arrived, Carlo, our host, made us feel right at home with his warm hospitality and genuine care. The breakfast was exceptional—fresh, delicious, and prepared with real attention to detail. The room was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located just a short walk from the city center. Carlo went above and beyond to help us explore Florence—he shared local tips, recommended hidden gems, and even helped us plan our itinerary. His knowledge of the city and passion for welcoming guests truly made the experience memorable. If you're looking for a charming, authentic stay in Florence, this is the place to be.

Staying at Mia Palace was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center, making it easy to explore Florence on foot. I was lucky enough to get a rooftop room with a private terrace and stunning views of the river—perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The only minor downsides were the modest breakfast selection and no elevator (you’ll need to climb a few flights), but honestly, these are small trade-offs for such a charming stay. The owner, Nadia, was incredibly welcoming and helpful—she went above and beyond to recommend local gems and answer all my questions. Her warmth truly made the trip special. If you’re looking for a cozy, authentic experience in Florence, this place is a must-book. Highly recommended!

Staying at Street Art Inn Florence was an absolute delight. The place is immaculate and warmly welcoming, with every detail thoughtfully curated—especially the unique street art murals that add character to the space. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a coffee machine with complimentary capsules and bottled water in the room—such a thoughtful touch. High-quality toiletries added to the comfort. Best of all, it’s perfectly located just 50 meters from the tram stop, making access to the historic center effortless. Whether you're exploring iconic landmarks, enjoying local cuisine, or shopping for souvenirs, everything is within easy reach. This charming little gem offers incredible value and a truly memorable stay.

I booked a two-night stay at La Federiga with a non-refundable rate, but had to cancel due to personal reasons. To my surprise, I was not charged any cancellation fee—this level of flexibility and kindness from the owner is truly rare. She was incredibly accommodating and responsive throughout the entire process. The location is excellent: just a short walk or quick metro ride into central Florence, surrounded by quiet streets and authentic charm. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained, making for a peaceful and restful stay. It’s clear that attention to detail and guest comfort are top priorities here. For anyone visiting Florence, this place offers outstanding value and genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely be back—and highly recommend it to others.

The warmth and hospitality here were truly exceptional. The room was cozy and inviting, and the entire property is impeccably maintained—spotless throughout with an incredibly comfortable bed that made for a restful night's sleep. It’s perfectly located just outside the bustling city center, yet only a short bike ride or quick tram trip away (the stop is literally steps from the door). We only stayed one night, but it felt like a perfect getaway—we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a peaceful retreat in Florence.

Staying at Sansovino Bed and Car was a mixed experience. The property is essentially an apartment-style setup, and we were in a room with an external bathroom—very outdated and poorly lit, making it uncomfortable to use. The room itself was simple with minimal furnishings, which could’ve worked, but the windows from the 1980s let in every sound from the street, which runs through one of Florence’s main arteries. Traffic starts early in the morning and goes on well into the night, so noise was a constant issue. On the bright side, the air conditioning worked well, and the location is great—just five tram stops from the city center, making it easy to explore on foot or by public transit. However, cleanliness needs serious improvement. We found trash left behind in the bathroom by the previous guest, which was disappointing. Overall, it’s not a bad option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly base near the city and don’t mind basic amenities, but don’t expect comfort or quiet.
