The location is great—close to public transit and downtown attractions, making it super easy to explore New Orleans. Every little detail showed care and attention. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

New Orleans is a city full of charm, dating back to 1718, where every corner feels alive with history and culture. While Bourbon Street can get crowded and overwhelming, I’d recommend exploring the parallel streets—quieter, more relaxed, and just as authentic. If you're into live music, Frenchmen Street is the place to be, especially in the evening when the energy really comes alive. The food here is bold and flavorful—my favorite was the crispy fried fish served with rice and beans, spicy and satisfying. The hotel’s location is perfect: close enough to everything but far enough from the noise. Easy access by public transit, clean rooms, and a welcoming vibe made my stay unforgettable. Definitely coming back.

This property is absolutely fantastic—perfect location, stunning design, and felt incredibly safe throughout our stay. The gated entrance and private garage added a great sense of security. Communication with the team was quick and effortless, which made everything smooth from start to finish. The only small improvement I’d suggest is adding an extra bathroom on the ground floor since that’s where the four-person bedroom is located—having to climb two flights of stairs for a shower was a bit inconvenient. But honestly, that’s just a tiny detail in what was otherwise a flawless experience. The space is spacious, beautifully furnished, quiet, and very well-maintained. We loved every moment here and wouldn’t hesitate to book again—highly recommend!

But what truly sets this B&B apart is Glenn’s genuine warmth and personal touch—he takes real interest in guest comfort and serves up a delicious, custom breakfast each morning that changes daily. From the Roman statues and ornate planters to the thick greenery framing the pool, every corner feels like a scene from a dream. Honestly, just for the peace and beauty of it, this place is worth a trip to New Orleans all by itself.

The security gate at check-in might look a bit intimidating, but once inside, you instantly feel safe and well taken care of. Rodeway Inn & Suites New Orleans Gentilly
Arriving at the hotel, we were immediately disappointed by the unfriendly front desk staff. The room was directly facing the street, with windows so dirty that it was nearly impossible to see outside. Despite being advertised as a non-smoking property, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke—so intense that we checked out after just five minutes and paid extra for a new hotel. The location is far from downtown New Orleans, making it inconvenient for tourists. As a young couple, we found this stay extremely unsatisfying and not worth the price. It would be completely impractical for families too. Overall, a very disappointing experience with no redeeming qualities.

Every detail here—from the cozy rooms to the thoughtful touches—shows how much care goes into this place. I left feeling completely refreshed and inspired. I’d highly recommend this gem to any traveler looking for authenticity, comfort, and a truly memorable experience in New Orleans.

Location-wise, it’s perfect—just steps from the streetcar and surrounded by amazing restaurants. We loved every moment of our stay and will definitely return.
