Staying at Reside NoMa was an absolute pleasure. The location is unbeatable—just a 30-minute walk to Union Station and right next to a metro stop, making it super easy to get around Washington, D.C. The room itself is spacious and modern, with excellent cleanliness and a fresh, comfortable vibe. I especially loved that the windows open, allowing for great airflow and giving me a nice view of the city skyline—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The free Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout my stay, whether I was checking emails or streaming shows. Everything about this property feels thoughtfully designed, from the layout to the attention to detail. It’s a fantastic value for the quality and convenience. I’ll definitely be back if I ever return to D.C.

Staying here for five nights was an absolute highlight of my trip to Washington DC. The hotel offers incredible value—especially considering how convenient the location is. Just a short walk from Van Ness Metro Station, I could easily reach Union Station via the Red Line with no transfers needed. For other lines like Blue, Orange, or Silver, just ride to Metro Center and transfer underground—super smooth. The room was spacious and well-maintained, far exceeding my expectations. I especially appreciated the free self-service coffee, tea, and hot water in the lobby—perfect for early mornings. Located in a quiet, upscale residential neighborhood, it felt safe and peaceful. Across the street is a high-end Italian restaurant that’s popular with locals—great food and atmosphere. Overall, this hotel delivered on comfort, convenience, and quality. I’d definitely book again when visiting DC.
2500 Penn, a Placemakr Experience
Staying at 2500 Penn was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—right next to a bus stop and just a short walk to the Metro, making it super easy to get around the city. I loved how close Trader Joe’s was for grocery shopping or grabbing a quick bite. Everything you need is within walking distance, and the neighborhood feels safe, vibrant, and well-connected. The modern design and thoughtful touches throughout the space made me feel right at home. If you're looking for a smart, convenient base in Washington, D.C., this is definitely a top choice.
Black Swan - Liz DC - Executive Flat
The apartment had a strong musty odor and felt very poorly ventilated, making the stay uncomfortable. When issues arose during our visit, the staff was completely unhelpful and unresponsive—no communication at all. We were promised a partial refund in writing, but after checking out, they refused to honor it without any explanation. This lack of integrity and customer service is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone looking for a reliable, clean, and respectful stay. Avoid it.

I stayed at WhyHotel by Placemakr, Union Market while visiting my son in Washington, D.C., and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff here are genuinely kind and go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Special shoutout to Gregori Capella and Breona Pinkney—two outstanding team members who truly care about their guests. Their professionalism and warm hospitality made a lasting impression. The hotel is perfectly located, just steps away from public transit and local attractions, making it easy to explore the city. Clean, modern rooms with thoughtful touches, and an overall vibe that feels both comfortable and welcoming. If this hotel were a chain, I’d say Gregori should be the head manager across all locations—and Breona absolutely deserves a major promotion. This place is a gem and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Global Luxury Suites at Tribeca
I stayed at Global Luxury Suites at Tribeca in Washington, DC, expecting a comfortable and secure experience—but unfortunately, it turned out to be a major disappointment. On September 14, 2024, I left the hotel with my family from 11 AM to 4 PM. When I returned, I discovered that two watches (including a Rolex), a diamond bracelet, and a ring were missing. I reported this immediately to the concierge, but their response was delayed and uncooperative. I filed a police report and requested access to surveillance footage from that time frame—so far, no video has been provided, and communication from the management remains minimal. To make matters worse, upon check-in, staff couldn’t locate my key card and had to recalibrate it manually. I also noticed the key fob cover was missing when I arrived—a red flag I didn’t address at the time. Now, with over $10,000 worth of jewelry stolen, and the investigation ongoing, I can’t help but feel the management is not being transparent. This isn’t just poor service—it’s a serious breach of trust. I strongly advise against staying here. Your belongings may not be safe.

The apartment was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for light cooking—utensils, dishes, and even enough kitchenware for four people. The shower had excellent water pressure, which made mornings feel refreshing. With nice weather during our visit, we spent hours exploring the neighborhood on foot, discovering hidden gems and enjoying the energetic atmosphere. It’s rare to find a place that blends comfort, convenience, and character so seamlessly. If you’re looking for a true Washington, D.C. experience with modern touches, this is it—highly recommend.
AC Hotel Washington DC Capitol Hill Navy Yard

Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making check-in and check-out smooth. Breakfast was a classic American spread: scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, and coffee—simple but satisfying and filling. One thing to note: parking can be tricky due to limited space and tight entry/exit lanes, so plan ahead if driving. Overall, this is a solid choice for travelers who value convenience and a welcoming atmosphere. We’d definitely stay here again when visiting Washington, DC.
Sonder Georgetown C&O
Absolutely loved staying at Sonder Georgetown C&O—perfectly matched my expectations. This hotel-style apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen including an induction cooktop, microwave, oven, dishwasher, and a spacious fridge—so much better than relying on takeout every day, especially since I’m not a fan of American fast food. The property is brand new, well-maintained, and managed under the Marriott umbrella, which gives peace of mind without the hassle of dealing with private hosts or basement units. Check-in was smooth: after registering via email, I received the room access code in advance. Even though official check-in time was 4 PM, the front desk staff activated the code early so we could move in as soon as 1:30 PM—very convenient! The location is ideal, right in the heart of Foggy Bottom, just a 15-minute walk to the metro station. There’s also a D80 bus stop right outside that goes straight to the Union Station—clean, reliable service with no sketchy vibes. Walking to the White House takes about 30 minutes, which is totally doable. A Trader Joe’s is only a 10-minute stroll away—great for groceries and snacks. The layout is smart and spacious, with a generous living area. The only small downside is that the showerhead is fixed to the wall (no handheld option), and bathing is done in the tub instead of a walk-in shower. But it’s still functional. And kudos to the lobby—free capsule coffee available all day, unlimited refills. Perfect for early mornings or late-night work sessions!

This place was an absolute gem I stumbled upon by chance. Located just a short walk from Union Station and Capitol Hill, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring the city. I arrived late at night—well past midnight—and yet the 24-hour concierge was there to greet me warmly and assist instantly when I realized I’d forgotten the email with my access codes. A quick call to the 24/7 support line resolved everything in minutes. The suite itself is spacious, bright, and airy, impeccably clean, and fully equipped with brand-new kitchenware, cookware, and tableware—everything you’d need for a home-cooked meal. There’s also a cozy lounge area perfect for unwinding. The rooftop pool is generously sized, ideal for laps, and the fitness center, shared with the adjacent Marriott, is huge and well-maintained, with all equipment working perfectly. I never saw more than six or eight people during my visits—so quiet and peaceful. Several supermarkets are within a five-minute walk, making grocery runs super easy. Even better, the front desk happily allowed me to store my luggage after check-out and let me work from their relaxed lobby space throughout the day. This level of service and thoughtfulness really sets the place apart. Highly recommend for travelers who value comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury.
