Omni Shoreham Hotel
My stay at the Omni Shoreham Hotel was absolutely perfect. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with a cozy bed that made for a restful night's sleep. Breakfast was outstanding—plenty of options and delicious flavors, especially the local specialties. I was in town for the NIAF event, and the hotel’s location was ideal: just a short walk or quick metro ride to the venue. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my visit. Everything from check-in to checkout ran smoothly. It’s rare to find such a well-balanced mix of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. Highly recommend this hotel for both business travelers and tourists alike.

Staying at the Washington Hilton was a pleasant experience overall. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful during check-in. While water wasn’t automatically provided in the room, it was easy to get from the front desk—no hassle at all. There’s a mandatory $25 tax that can be redeemed at the Starbucks located right next to the hotel; just keep in mind that the $25 is already inclusive of tax when using it for purchases. One of the highlights was catching a glimpse of the U.S. Capitol Building just before government offices closed—definitely worth the timing! The bed was a bit on the softer side, making it feel like sinking into a pit if you’re used to firmer mattresses, so it might not suit everyone. However, cleanliness was excellent—the room was thoroughly cleaned and left spotless every time. With its central location near major attractions and great accessibility via public transit, this hotel offers solid value for travelers exploring Washington D.C. I’d definitely recommend it for those planning a short visit to the capital.
