New Fashion Hotel apartment
I booked this apartment specifically to see the giant idol mascot at Tin Shing Plaza, but upon arrival, I found it had already been moved to the performance venue. While it was a bit disappointing not getting that photo op, the real letdown was not being able to stay on the 30th floor or above—something I’ve always enjoyed in past stays at Jin Tower. Still, the host was incredibly patient and helpful, answering all my questions with genuine care. Their warm attitude really made up for the missed expectations. The location is fantastic, and overall, the value for money is excellent. Definitely worth staying if you're visiting Tianjin.

I’ve stayed here a few years ago and decided to return—glad I did. The Chinese restaurant on-site serves solid meals, and I was pleasantly surprised by a small dumpling shop just around the corner—breakfast and lunch were both satisfying and surprisingly good value. A couple of minor drawbacks: some facilities feel dated, especially in the corners where the carpet could use a deeper clean. Also, the front desk requires copying my ID upon check-in—a practice I find unusual and concerning from a privacy standpoint, as I’ve never encountered it elsewhere. It’s worth reviewing whether this aligns with local regulations and security standards. Despite these points, the overall experience remains excellent.
