Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel
We stayed here with our kids and were really impressed—this hotel exceeded our expectations. Even though it’s not in central Tokyo, getting here from Tokyo Station is super easy via the JR Keiyō Line (just 3 stops). The hotel itself is spotless, modern, and spacious—our room easily fit three suitcases with room to spare. Everything was clean and well-maintained, just like the photos show. The bathroom and amenities were top-notch, and we appreciated the free bottled water provided in-room. One of the highlights? A complimentary public bath on-site—perfect for relaxing after a long day. Located right across from Shiomi Station’s east exit, the hotel is super convenient. Just steps away, there’s a FamilyMart for snacks and essentials, and walking left from the west exit leads you to a large supermarket stocked with fresh fruit, drinks, treats, and even ice cream—ideal for families. Whether heading to Kidzania, Toyosu, or Disneyland, the location makes travel hassle-free. We’ll definitely be back—this place is a hidden gem with excellent value.

One thing to note is that the room feels a bit low-ceilinged, and the bed and sink are on the lower side, which might be slightly awkward if you're tall or prefer higher furniture. But honestly, these small drawbacks don't take away from the overall value. With its prime location, cleanliness, and modern vibe, this hotel is a solid choice for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in central Tokyo.

Everything you'd want for a great evening out is right outside the door. It's also just a short walk from the nearest subway station, making it super easy to get around Tokyo. I reached Skytree in about 15 minutes on foot, which is perfect if you're planning to explore nearby attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The only minor issue was that there was no toothbrush upon arrival, but staff were quick to provide one—no hassle at all. Overall, the value for money is excellent, and I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Asakusa.

There’s also a language exchange event hosted in the dining area (paid), which was a fun way to meet other travelers. The only minor issue was that the duvet felt slightly damp, possibly due to humidity, but it didn’t detract much from the excellent experience. We stayed one night here on our way to Nikko, and the location was perfect—just a short walk from Senso-ji Temple. The surrounding area is full of shops and restaurants, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. The only downside was the room’s lack of proper blackout in the windows, especially for rooms facing the street—lights outside were still visible even after turning off the room lights, which could disrupt sleep. Also, the floor lamp in the tatami section couldn’t be turned off, leaving a faint glow throughout the night. If you're a light sleeper or sensitive to ambient light, this might be something to consider. Despite that, the hotel offers great value for money, excellent location, and a comfortable stay overall.

Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—just a 3-minute walk from the subway station, with a convenience store and plenty of dining options right downstairs. The breakfast was simple but satisfying: rice, a few small side dishes, bread, and coffee—all served on the 14th floor, where the view was surprisingly great. The only minor downside is that the bed is a bit narrow, so if you're tall or traveling with someone who is, you might find it tight. That said, it’s still a fantastic value for money. Highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a cozy atmosphere in central Tokyo.

We even walked to the nearest subway station to catch the airport express, saving time and hassle. This place combines comfort, accessibility, and practicality in a way that’s hard to beat—highly recommend for travelers who value seamless transit.
