Staying at Saint Pauls House was an absolute delight, especially for a concert at the Utilita Arena. The stay was disappointing from start to finish. The staff were unfriendly, dismissive, and offered no assistance when needed. The room was basic to the point of being dull, and it wasn’t fully clean—there were visible marks and dust in corners. To make matters worse, we were made to wait over 30 minutes after checking out because the team insisted on conducting a room inspection before allowing us to leave. It’s frustrating to be held up like that, especially when you’ve already completed your departure process. There are far better options in the area with more welcoming staff and cleaner, more comfortable accommodations. I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you’re planning a visit to Birmingham.
