The pool attendant was particularly welcoming, offering refreshments with a smile. Just a 5-8 minute stroll from the hotel brings you to the famous 888 Hokkien Mee, which is absolutely worth a visit. For sightseeing, hopping on a trishaw to Sungai Pijer Bridge takes less than 10 minutes by car, or you can walk there in about 15 minutes—perfect for exploring the city’s charm. Cheong Fatt Tze - the Blue Mansion
藍屋真係完全超出我嘅期待！今次去檳城，住過幾間五星級酒店，但張弼士故居酒店－藍房絕對係最滿意的一間。之前睇評論先入為主覺得老建築有陰氣、附近酒館唱到凌晨，其實完全唔使擔心——我們入住期間冇半點異樣感覺，雖然酒館確係唱到十二點，但家人同我都唔會受影響，而且酒店仲免費提供耳塞（雖然我哋都冇用），根本冇造成任何滋擾。 地理位置超級方便，去藝術街、莫定標、愛情巷、Badjenid 都走幾分鐘就到，沿途仲可以欣賞多不勝數嘅壁畫、老式招牌同建築，好有氛圍。打車去三條路、First Avenue、Penang Road 亦只消五分鐘，交通極之便捷。 我最鍾意三樣：第一，酒店本身設計超美，靛藍外牆吸睛爆燈，中庭、樓梯、側院都適合拍照，尤其訪客只能喺11am至6pm參觀，其他時間你可以放心瘋狂打卡，完全唔使尷尬；第二，浴室設計太讚了，黑白瓷磚配搭簡約又高級，我連喺度拍咗一組照片，實在愛到不得了。第三，設施齊備又新穎，唔似一般古蹟酒店就忽略舒適度。我哋個廁所乾淨到令我驚訝，連潔癖人士都啱啱啱。電視同藍牙音響都可以連手機，下午瞓覺時聽陶喆重編版《流沙》，心靜又感動。門口保安非常負責，嚴格查證出入人員，主動幫搬行李，笑容滿面，安全感十足。早餐亦唔錯，有自助部分，仲有自煮叻沙可選，仲有每日不同主廚菜單，每位住客可選一道，喺中庭食飯簡直浪漫到爆😍

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with plenty of local and international options. On-site amenities include a lovely pool, a well-equipped gym, and even an in-house karaoke room—perfect for a fun night in! The hotel’s interior design is unique and cozy, with a retro vibe that stands out. One of my favorite touches? The room keys look just like vintage cassette tapes—such a creative and memorable detail. Overall, the atmosphere is relaxed, stylish, and full of charm. I’ll definitely be back.

The staff were friendly, the ambiance was cozy, and the attention to detail was impressive. I’d definitely recommend this hidden gem for travelers looking for a stylish yet authentic stay in George Town.

It's not just stylish with a unique design aesthetic—it's also incredibly quiet, making it perfect for a peaceful stay. The on-site restaurant is Michelin-rated, and the food was exceptional—definitely worth a special visit. I also want to thank the platform's customer service for helping me secure the reservation at the Michelin restaurant and arranging a late check-out until 1 PM. Their support made a big difference. Overall, this hotel offers outstanding value and a memorable experience—I'd definitely come back.
