1 Hotel Copenhagen

Located right in the heart of Copenhagen, 1 Hotel Copenhagen offers unbeatable convenience with its proximity to bustling shopping streets and a vibrant nightlife scene. Although the exterior is under renovation and there aren’t many guests around, the overall experience was still excellent. The rooms are spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. Walking distance to major attractions like the Little Mermaid statue, Nyhavn, and the Royal Palace makes exploring the city effortless. However, I did feel uneasy about the security deposit process. I had already paid the full amount for two nights through the booking platform, but upon check-in, the front desk asked for an additional 1,030 and 1,015 DKK per room as deposits. It’s been five days since my departure, and the refund hasn’t appeared on my credit card statement yet—this lack of transparency is disappointing. While the hotel itself delivers on comfort and location, this post-check-out issue could have been handled much more smoothly.

Residence Inn Copenhagen Nordhavn

Staying at Residence Inn Copenhagen Nordhavn was an absolute delight. The room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable—especially the bed, which made for a restful night’s sleep. What really stood out was the location: just a short walk to the harbor, making boat trips into the city center effortless and scenic. I loved being able to hop on a ferry without any transfers—perfect for exploring Copenhagen in a relaxed way. The area is quiet yet vibrant, with great dining options nearby and a safe, welcoming atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it’s a fantastic mix of comfort, convenience, and value—definitely a top choice if you're looking to enjoy the city without the hassle of long commutes.

25Hours Hotel Copenhagen Indre by

Staying at the 25Hours Hotel Copenhagen Indre By was an absolute highlight of my trip to Copenhagen. The hotel itself is a true design gem—minimalist yet full of character, with thoughtful details everywhere you look. Its location is unbeatable; just steps away from the Round Tower, and within easy reach of all major sights by foot or public transit. The on-site restaurant blew me away—it has a Middle Eastern/Israeli vibe with bold, fresh flavors that really stood out. I especially loved their signature dishes; every bite was flavorful and well-executed. Service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of style, comfort, and convenience in one place. If you're visiting Copenhagen, this is definitely the spot to stay. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Rosenborg Hotel Apartments

The location was perfect—just a short walk from the city center and well-connected to public transit. The apartment itself was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully laid out. We really appreciated the complimentary coffee upon arrival—it made our morning routine so much easier. Another nice touch was being able to store our luggage in the lockers after check-out, which gave us peace of mind during our last few hours in Copenhagen. The only minor downside is the lack of a view from the kitchen and living area, but given it’s an attic space, that’s completely understandable. Overall, this place strikes the right balance between comfort, convenience, and value. It’s a fantastic base for exploring the city, and we’d definitely stay here again.

Ibsens Hotel is a perfect stay for travelers who love exploring on their own. The hotel offers free bike rentals, making it super easy to cruise around the city at your own pace. I was able to reach the train station comfortably on foot—just a short walk from the hotel—so getting around Copenhagen was stress-free. I started my mornings by riding bikes through scenic streets, enjoying the local vibe and fresh air. The location is excellent, clean, and well-maintained, with friendly staff who made me feel right at home. Whether you're here for a quick weekend getaway or a longer stay, this place delivers great value and convenience. Highly recommend for an authentic Copenhagen experience.

Venders Copenhagen

Staying at Venders Copenhagen was a delightful experience overall. The self-check-in process was incredibly convenient—no waiting in line, just a quick scan of my booking code to unlock the door. The hotel’s location is perfect: just a short walk from the metro station, making it easy to explore downtown Copenhagen and nearby attractions. The building itself is stunning, with a modern, minimalist design that feels both stylish and welcoming. I received an email the day before arrival confirming a complimentary room upgrade—my standard room was upgraded to a larger one with more spacious living area, which made a big difference. That said, the sofa bed was set up upon arrival but wasn’t really suitable for two adults to sleep on—it’s narrow, has a noticeable seam down the middle, and the cushioning is quite soft. Still, since we only stayed one night and were two women traveling together, it worked fine as a seating option. All in all, the ambiance is elegant, the service is seamless, and the value for money is excellent. I’d definitely come back.

The rooms were spotless, and despite the shared toilets, the facilities were surprisingly modern, clean, and well-maintained—definitely not a dealbreaker. Located just outside the city center, it offers a peaceful, quiet atmosphere, especially in the evenings when the hustle and bustle fades away. Yet, it’s still super accessible via the metro, making downtown easily reachable in under 30 minutes. The balance between tranquility and convenience is perfect for travelers who want to unwind after a busy day but still have easy access to all the city has to offer. It’s a hidden gem with great value—definitely worth considering if you’re looking for a calm, comfortable stay without sacrificing location.

Apartments by Brøchner Hotels

Staying at Apartments by Brøchner Hotels was an absolute delight from start to finish. Every detail—from the sleek, modern design and spacious rooms to the exceptional staff, delicious breakfast, and thoughtfully equipped kitchen—exceeded expectations. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from everything in Copenhagen. High-speed WiFi, luxurious showers, and a cozy atmosphere made my stay incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the little touches: a complimentary glass of wine each evening and a free nightcap, which really made me feel welcomed like family. The breakfast at their charming on-site restaurant was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and served with genuine warmth. This isn’t just a hotel; it’s a home away from home. I’ll definitely be returning.

Sanders City - Spacious Studio in the Center

Located in a prime spot right in the heart of Copenhagen, this studio offers unbeatable convenience—just a short walk or quick subway ride to all major attractions. The space is surprisingly spacious for two adults and even comfortably fits up to four guests without feeling cramped. Check-in and check-out were seamless thanks to a simple digital code that unlocked the door—no waiting at the front desk, which was a huge plus. The only downside? We weren’t able to secure a 2-hour late checkout, which would’ve been perfect for our travel schedule. Still, the cleanliness, comfort, and central location make this a standout choice. Highly recommend for travelers who value simplicity, space, and location.

Sanders Haven - Sweet 2-Bdr. Apt. Near Nyhavn

Staying at this charming 2-bedroom apartment near Nyhavn in Copenhagen was mostly a delightful experience. The location is unbeatable—within walking distance of major attractions, and literally right next to more than 20 restaurants, making dining out incredibly convenient. During mid-summer, the price-to-quality ratio was outstanding for such a central spot. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay, whether short or longer-term. We appreciated having a couple of umbrellas for the frequent rain showers, though one was nearly unusable. The beds were among the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on—truly dreamy. The apartment itself is bright, spacious, and airy, with clean lines and a welcoming vibe. That said, there are a few downsides worth noting. The openness and lightness that make it so inviting during the day can be a problem when trying to sleep past 7:30–8 a.m., as there are no blackout curtains—Copenhagen’s summer sun will absolutely wake you up every morning. Also, while the apartment matches the photos online, both sofas looked terrible—deeply stained, with layers of grime that look like they’ve been there for years. They really need a professional cleaning or replacement. It made us hesitant to sit on them. And the toilet seat kept slipping out from under us, which was frustrating and unsafe. Despite these two issues, the overall experience was excellent. The combination of location, comfort, and value makes this apartment a strong choice for anyone visiting Copenhagen. If those small flaws are overlooked, it’s truly a perfect vacation base.

The Old Factory - Hostel

Staying at The Old Factory Hostel in Copenhagen was an absolute highlight of my trip! Located right in the heart of the city, it's super convenient to get around—just a short walk from the metro. I was pleasantly surprised by how much character and comfort this hostel offers. The industrial-chic design with exposed brick walls, warm lighting, and stylish common areas gives it a unique vibe that feels far more premium than your typical youth hostel. My dorm room was clean, quiet, and had great bedding—perfect for a good night’s sleep even with shared space. The kitchen is fully equipped and ideal for cooking your own meals, which saved me a lot of money. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready with local tips and recommendations. It’s rare to find such a welcoming, well-run place with such amazing value. If you're looking for a fun, social, yet relaxing base in Copenhagen, this is the spot. Definitely coming back next time!

Fairfield by Marriott Copenhagen Nordhavn

Staying at the Fairfield by Marriott Copenhagen Nordhavn was a pleasant surprise despite its slightly off-the-beaten-path location. While it’s not right in the heart of the city and requires a short metro ride or taxi to reach major attractions, the convenience of being close to the Little Mermaid made it worth it—especially since I rode a shared bike back along the waterfront, enjoying the scenic views. The area itself is quiet and peaceful, with a few dining options nearby and direct access to the harbor. It does feel a bit quiet in the evenings, but that’s part of its charm. The room was spacious for the price point—quite generous compared to other budget-friendly hotels in Denmark. The front desk staff were friendly and even offered early check-in, which was a nice touch during what seemed like a slower period. Overall, if you’re looking for a calm, clean stay with easy access to nature and a unique neighborhood vibe, this hotel is a solid choice.
