Tiantan Hotel
My stay at Tiantan Hotel in Beijing was absolutely excellent. Upon check-in, I noticed a minor issue with the showerhead on the 6th floor, but the front desk responded quickly and arranged a room upgrade to a newly renovated unit on the 4th floor—perfect! The room was right next to a meeting space, so it was incredibly quiet and made for a peaceful, restful night’s sleep. The bathroom amenities were from Baikal (Bai Cao Ji), which I really appreciate—the quality felt premium and thoughtful. What stood out most was the complimentary late-night snack service from 9 PM to 10:30 PM. It’s such a nice touch, especially after a long day or when returning late. On the ground floor, there’s a self-service laundry area—just bring your own detergent, though there’s a small convenience shop nearby where you can buy a bottle for just ¥10. Each use of the washer and dryer costs ¥10, which is very reasonable. On checkout day, it started raining unexpectedly. Without being asked, the front desk staff handed me an umbrella—small gesture, but it really showed how attentive they are. This level of care is exactly why this hotel earns its reputation as a trusted, well-managed property. Professional, warm, and efficient—highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable, offering good support without being too firm. But what truly stood out was the excellent soundproofing. As someone who struggles with sleep due to noise sensitivity, this was a game-changer. I slept deeply all night without any disturbances. For its price point, the value is outstanding. Staff were friendly and helpful during check-in and check-out. One minor downside: the TV doesn’t support screen mirroring, which would’ve been nice for streaming, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Also, food deliveries need to be picked up from the front desk, but it’s only a quick walk away. All in all, this hotel offers excellent value for money, with a quiet and tidy environment. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Beijing.
