Hosteeva 2BR Steps to St. Charles Ave

Staying at this property near St. Charles Ave was a real disappointment. The couches and beds were extremely worn out with no proper support—especially the mattress, which had a noticeable dip in the center, making it uncomfortable even for someone my size (30 years old, not overweight). The smoke alarm went off repeatedly throughout the morning, requiring us to wait for staff to fix it—a major inconvenience. We also noticed that parts of the floor were sinking, so we had to watch our step carefully while walking around. The air conditioning didn’t work at all during our entire stay, and despite calling daily, the issue was never resolved. With temperatures outside hitting 109°F, the thermostat was locked at 78°F, making the room unbearable. Ceiling fans were non-functional too, so we ended up using portable box fans just to get some airflow. It’s hard to recommend this place, especially given the price point. Poor maintenance and lack of basic comfort make it a tough sell.

Walking to the French Quarter is effortless and takes less than ten minutes. What really stood out was how much value you get for the price—excellent service, clean rooms, and unbeatable convenience all rolled into one. Rodeway Inn & Suites New Orleans Gentilly

Arriving at the hotel, we were immediately disappointed by the unfriendly front desk staff. The room was directly facing the street, with windows so dirty that it was nearly impossible to see outside. Despite being advertised as a non-smoking property, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke—so intense that we checked out after just five minutes and paid extra for a new hotel. The location is far from downtown New Orleans, making it inconvenient for tourists. As a young couple, we found this stay extremely unsatisfying and not worth the price. It would be completely impractical for families too. Overall, a very disappointing experience with no redeeming qualities.

Sheraton New Orleans Hotel

The room at Sheraton New Orleans was surprisingly spacious—much larger than typical rooms back home, especially for a U.S. hotel. Staying on the 44th floor offered a fantastic view and a quiet atmosphere. The only minor quirk is that you need to select your floor from the lobby elevator panel before entering; once inside, there’s no option to press additional floors—something to note but not a dealbreaker. Location-wise, it's perfect if you're attending a convention or exploring the French Quarter. Everything is within walking distance, and public transit access is convenient. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the overall experience felt seamless. I’d definitely stay here again—especially with how easy the booking process was through the platform.

SpringHill Suites New Orleans Warehouse Arts District

I was extremely satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the convention center, making it incredibly convenient for business travelers and event attendees. Parking rates were significantly more affordable compared to nearby hotels, which was a big plus for those arriving by car. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a cozy bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast options were modest but adequate—simple yet satisfying for a quick morning meal. One small note: housekeeping didn’t come every day, so we had to request cleaning services when needed. That said, the overall experience was outstanding. For anyone visiting New Orleans for work or events, this property offers great value, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommend it.
