Staying at Catalonia Berlin Mitte was an absolute delight. Located in the heart of Berlin, it’s just a short walk from major attractions like the Berlin Cathedral, the Chinese Embassy, and the Berlin Wall Memorial—perfect for exploring the city’s rich history. Despite being in a bustling area, the hotel is surprisingly quiet, offering a peaceful retreat without sacrificing convenience. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished, with excellent sound insulation. I particularly appreciated the breakfast spread—fresh pastries, local jams, and a good selection of hot and cold options. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and location make this hotel a standout choice. If you're visiting Berlin, this is definitely a place I’d recommend again.

The Bob W Mitte hotel is absolutely lovely—clean, well-maintained, and located in a great spot for exploring Berlin. The only downside I noticed was the phone-based door locking system, which felt a bit impractical. If your phone battery dies or the device malfunctions, you’re locked out—no way in. It’s also a hassle that you need to open a Wi-Fi link every time to lock the door. If the network drops or you’re without mobile data, you can’t secure the room either. Personally, I’d prefer if the same access code used at the bottom of the door worked from the top as well. That said, these are minor gripes. The hotel itself is excellent overall—great comfort, smart design, and fantastic value. Definitely worth staying at if you're visiting Berlin.

My room was clean, spacious, and well-designed with modern touches, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—perfect for recharging after long days exploring. I especially appreciated the quiet environment; no noise from the street despite being so close to one of the city’s most famous landmarks. For the price, the value is outstanding. If you’re visiting Berlin, this is a must-book option—authentic, convenient, and unforgettable.

The only minor issue was the air conditioning, which still blew cool air even when set between 25–30°C, but it didn’t detract much from the overall experience. What really stood out was the location—right inside Berlin Ostbahnhof train station, just across from the Berlin Wall memorial. Getting around the city is effortless; you can hop on the S-Bahn, U-Bahn, or buses without leaving the building. Whether heading to the airport, central Berlin, or nearby attractions, it’s all within minutes. For a hotel in this category, the value is outstanding. I’d absolutely book here again on my next visit to Berlin.

Staying at Amano East Side in Berlin was an absolute highlight of our trip. The hotel is literally less than a 5-minute walk from the main train station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around—especially with easy access to the East Side Gallery and other key spots. The staff were warm and welcoming, and even though we arrived early, they managed to get us into our room right away. The interior design throughout the property is stunning—modern, stylish, and full of character. We especially loved the rooftop bar: the view over the city is breathtaking, and the cocktails are delicious. The on-site Italian restaurant, Gambino, was also excellent—the food was fresh and flavorful. We didn’t have breakfast since we were out exploring every morning, so I can’t comment on that part, but overall, the experience was flawless. If you're visiting Berlin, this hotel deserves a spot on your list.

It’s a solid option for budget-conscious visitors who don’t mind a lively urban setting, but those seeking peace and quiet might want to think twice.
