The La Luna Inn is absolutely fantastic and highly recommended. Completely renovated two years ago, it still maintains a clean and fresh feel throughout. Simple yet practical design makes it perfect for a comfortable stay. Plenty of spacious parking spots are available—no stress finding a spot. The location is ideal: just a 5-minute walk to the Presidio, and about a 45-minute stroll to Fisherman’s Wharf. There’s also a bike rental shop just 200 meters away—perfect for exploring the city on two wheels. One small downside? Not many breakfast options nearby, but that’s a minor issue considering how great everything else is. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. I’d definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Rodeway Inn Civic Center for one night and was genuinely impressed. The location is super convenient—just a short subway ride into downtown San Francisco, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it safe and easy to get around even at night. Staff were friendly and helpful during check-in, which went smoothly. For the price, this hotel offers excellent value for money—perfect for budget-conscious travelers who still want a decent stay. I’d definitely consider returning on my next trip to San Francisco and would recommend it to friends.
Rodeway Inn San Francisco-Union Square
The location is definitely a strong point—right in the heart of Union Square, making it super convenient for exploring downtown San Francisco. It’s also more affordable than most hotels in the area, which is a big plus. The front door is locked, and there are hallway cameras, so I felt safe during my stay. The bed was fine for a quick night’s sleep, and the bathroom looked newly renovated—clean and modern. That said, there were several issues that stood out. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, which was frustrating. The coffee/tea maker had a moldy tea bag inside—definitely not cleaned between stays. There was no bath mat in the bathroom, and the bathtub wouldn’t drain, even after leaving it overnight. The elevator felt like it came from another era—slow and creaky. When I checked out at 8 a.m., the front desk was completely empty, so I had to hunt for someone. I’d booked using my loyalty points, but the front desk agent tried to charge me $29 extra. To his credit, he called me back an hour later and admitted it was a mistake. Overall, this place works if you’re just passing through and don’t mind basic amenities. But if you value comfort, cleanliness, and reliability, you might want to look elsewhere.

The Lombard Inn is a solid choice if you're looking for a no-frills stay in San Francisco. The rooms are clean and the beds are surprisingly comfortable—perfect for a good night's rest. While the decor and furnishings feel a bit dated, they’re still functional and adequately maintained. One thing worth mentioning is that the hallways had a slight musty odor, likely due to the carpets needing a deep clean. That said, it’s an easy fix and doesn’t detract much from the overall experience. I’d recommend this hotel for travelers who prioritize comfort and convenience over modern design. It’s a reliable option with great value, especially if you're on a budget.
Dakota Hotel
We stayed in Glasgow for a few days and stopped by this hotel for breakfast—had no expectations going in, but was pleasantly surprised. The menu options were somewhat limited, but the warm welcome and excellent service from Thomas made all the difference. He went above and beyond to make our morning special. It’s a hidden gem with a welcoming vibe, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone passing through.
Kailash Hotel
On Friday, April 21st at 10:15 AM, a guest from another building at the hotel climbed over the fence between units 179 and 173, entered our private driveway area, then climbed over our fence and left toward Wiese Street, heading toward 16th Street. We immediately called 911. The situation was alarming and unsettling. While police responded promptly, the incident raised serious concerns about property security and safety protocols. It's important to note that making assumptions based on someone's background is not only inappropriate but also harmful. As guests, we expect the hotel to maintain a secure environment for all. We hope management will take immediate action to improve fencing, surveillance, and overall safety measures to prevent future incidents.
