Staying at Best Western Plus Centre Hotel in Saint Petersburg was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—right across from the train station, with easy access to the metro and just a short walk to the Winter Palace. I loved how convenient it was for exploring the city; everything I needed—from dining options to sightseeing spots—was within walking distance. The room was compact but well-designed, spotlessly clean, and included all the essentials I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Despite its size, the room felt spacious and welcoming. This hotel offers excellent value for money, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Saint Petersburg. It’s not just a place to sleep—it’s a great base for experiencing the city like a local.

I've stayed at Hotel Moscow every time I visit St. Petersburg for work, and it never disappoints. The location is perfect—right next to the metro station, making commuting effortless and convenient. The room itself is cozy and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed that ensures a restful night's sleep. Breakfast is a highlight: a generous spread with both local and international options, so you start your day energized. Best of all, the hotel sits close to the Neva River—walking just a few minutes gets you to scenic riverside views, especially beautiful during sunrise and sunset. The atmosphere is peaceful and elegant, making it ideal for both business trips and leisure. Excellent value, friendly staff, and top-notch amenities. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St. Petersburg—it’s my go-to choice, and I’ll definitely be back.

Staying at Grand Catherine Palace Hotel was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from major attractions like the Church of the Savior on Blood, Kazan Cathedral, and the famous 100-year-old bookstore, all within 5 minutes. Saint Isaac's Cathedral and the Hermitage Museum are just a 10-minute stroll away. The hotel itself is a four-star gem with a beautiful art-inspired theme throughout, creating a serene and elegant atmosphere. Rooms are clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with essentials: disposable slippers, purified water, mini-fridge, toiletries, towels, and air conditioning. Each floor has access to free drinking water, and elevators make moving between floors easy. Staff at reception speak fluent English, making check-in and communication smooth. Even after checkout, they offered complimentary luggage storage—a real convenience for late departures. The ground-floor restaurant serves tasty food with friendly service. The only minor downside? First-time visitors might find it tricky to locate. It’s tucked behind St. Catherine’s Church, with a small, unassuming entrance that looks like a regular apartment door. But once you spot the yellow facade and the hotel name on the wall, it’s easy to find. I’ve even marked the route on my map to help others. Overall, this hotel offers incredible value, charm, and central positioning—highly recommend for anyone visiting St. Petersburg!

Staying at Guest Rooms and Apartments Grifon was an absolute delight. The owner couldn’t have been more welcoming—patiently explained everything during check-in, even if you don’t speak English or Russian. It’s incredibly reassuring to feel so well taken care of from the very beginning. The location is fantastic: just a short walk from Kazan Cathedral, with a peaceful riverside view right outside the door. The area is quiet and serene, making it perfect for a restful night’s sleep. I felt completely safe and relaxed throughout my stay. For the price, this place offers incredible value. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to friends.

Staying at Aleksander Plats Hotel was an absolutely delightful experience. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center and close to major attractions, public transit, and local restaurants. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with a comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. Noise insulation is excellent—no disturbances from the hallway or street. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, offering local tips and even assisting with luggage. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, diverse, and included delicious local specialties like homemade bread, jams, and strong coffee. It felt like a true taste of St. Petersburg. Overall, this hotel offers exceptional value and comfort. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

I absolutely loved this hotel! The room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean—everything I needed for a comfortable stay was right there. From the amenities to the thoughtful touches, it felt like home away from home. Location-wise, it’s super convenient for getting around Saint Petersburg, with easy access to public transit. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the city—great value and an excellent experience overall.

Staying at Nomera na Poltavskoy was a fantastic experience. The room was modern and well-equipped, with fresh disposable toiletries—everything felt clean and thoughtfully provided. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, spoke fluent English, and made check-in quick and smooth. Location-wise, it's unbeatable: just a 5-minute walk to the train station, making travel around St. Petersburg super convenient. Whether you're arriving by train or planning day trips, this hotel is perfectly positioned. Great value for money, excellent service, and a comfortable stay overall—I'd definitely return and recommend it to any traveler visiting the city.

This was my first visit to St. Petersburg, and staying at Lopatin Nevsky 100 Hotel turned out to be a perfect choice. The location is excellent—just a 10-minute walk from the train station, making it ideal for travelers arriving by train from Moscow. I appreciated how convenient it was to get around without needing to rely on taxis or public transport right after arrival. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and there’s even a small convenience store directly across the street—perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials. The hotel itself felt clean and welcoming, with friendly staff who made check-in smooth. Overall, great value for money and a very comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend and return.

Staying at Kristoff Hotel in St. Petersburg was a really positive experience overall! The first day was a bit confusing—our driver took us to the wrong location, and even though we passed by the hotel, we didn’t recognize it right away. A local pointed us toward the second entrance, but that turned out to be a bar! We wandered around a bit more until we finally found the actual hotel using the photo reference (Photo 8), while Photo 9 showed where breakfast was served—had to walk there for morning meals. The room itself was spacious with good amenities: a Swiss-made hairdryer, Japanese-style showerhead with instant hot water, and all basic toiletries provided—including towels. No toothbrushes, but there were disposable slippers. One of the best things? The hotel’s location—everything nearby, including major attractions, was within walking distance. We explored on foot every day, which made the trip feel much more immersive. There’s also a nice Chinese restaurant nearby, perfect if you’re not into fast food. And yes, the backside of the building is packed with bars—great for evening vibes. The only downsides? No elevator (which made carrying luggage up a bit tough) and some mosquitoes in the room. I’d recommend bringing mosquito repellent. On arrival, we were exhausted after an 8-hour flight. The lack of rubles caused delays—we had to wait to collect our bags and then deal with currency exchange at the airport. The exchange rate there was terrible: $100 only got us 7,100 rubles. Later, we found another exchange point on the third floor, but it was even worse—just 7,000 rubles. Eventually, we used a private exchange with better rates (over 8,000 rubles for $100), but we were hesitant about counterfeit money. Also, once we left the baggage claim area, security wouldn’t let us re-enter the terminal, so it was tricky. Important tip: always keep your customs receipt (the small white slip) handy when entering Russia. Staff spoke English, but since I only speak Chinese, I relied heavily on translation apps. Still, they were super helpful—they noticed our heavy luggage and offered assistance, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, St. Petersburg is absolutely stunning. If I get the chance again, I’ll definitely come back—and stay here once more.

Absolutely perfect stay! The location is ideal—just a short walk from the heart of the city, yet tucked away on a quiet street that feels peaceful and private. There are plenty of cozy cafés and restaurants nearby, offering something for every taste and budget. The rooms are warm, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything you’d need. The staff are discreet but always ready to help—friendly, genuine, and thoughtful without being intrusive. And the real highlight? The rooftop terrace with breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Even in colder weather, you can enjoy the scenery comfortably with a hot drink in hand. It’s such a special touch that makes this place truly memorable. A standout experience—highly recommend for anyone visiting St. Petersburg!

The apartment is perfectly located—just a short walk from Nevsky Prospekt, the Neva River, and the metro station, making it super convenient for exploring St. Petersburg. The space is quiet and well-suited for a quick stay, with a sofa, foldable table, and two folding chairs—basic but functional. However, the setup is very minimal. Access instructions were confusing for a foreigner and lacked clarity, especially in English. Unfortunately, the door code didn’t work when we arrived, which caused some frustration. Communication with the host was only via text messages in Russian, so there was no real conversation or support. The bed is positioned above the kitchen area, requiring you to crawl to get in—it’s not ideal, especially if you’re not comfortable with tight spaces. Overall, while the location is excellent and the price point is fair, the lack of clear instructions, limited amenities, and language barrier make this a mixed experience. If you're budget-conscious and don’t mind basic facilities, it could work—but be prepared for potential hiccups.

Staying at Peterville Hotel was an absolute delight. Located right in the heart of Saint Petersburg, it’s tucked away on a quiet street—peaceful yet incredibly convenient for exploring nearby attractions. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a tasteful interior that felt modern without being outdated. Hot water came out strong, and the amenities like shampoo, body wash, and fluffy towels were thoughtfully provided. There’s even a water dispenser and microwave in the hallway—perfect for grabbing a quick snack or heating up leftovers. If your window overlooks the courtyard, don’t worry—it’s not a dark, cramped shaft but rather a glimpse into the soul of St. Petersburg, where you can almost imagine walking through the pages of Dostoevsky’s novels. For the price, this is an unbeatable value. Highly recommended!
