While major attractions like the Hermitage, Church of the Savior on Blood, and the Great Bookstore aren’t right next door, walking along Nevsky Prospekt is part of the charm—there are so many little shops and cafes to explore along the way. One unique touch in our room was a signed artwork by a famous figure hanging above the bed—anyone else stayed in that same room? The only minor downside is the lack of in-room Wi-Fi, but honestly, it didn’t bother me at all—my phone hotspot worked perfectly fine. Overall, this place offers excellent value, comfort, and atmosphere. I’d definitely come back.

Breakfast was standard Western-style but had decent variety, and it was included—no extra fees. The shampoo came in small plastic packets, which might not be enough for long hair, but after one trip out, the front desk had already restocked with a fresh row of bottles—perfect for longer-haired guests. Service staff were generally friendly and helpful, though only one receptionist spoke fluent English. If you don’t catch her, you’ll need translation tools for others—but their kindness and professionalism more than make up for it.
