First day in LA, and staying at this InterContinental was an absolute surprise! I was assigned to the 61st floor with a stunning city view—so much better than expected. The location is perfect: walking distance to convenience stores and fast food spots, and public transit is just around the corner. Sadly, my tight schedule meant I didn’t get to enjoy the pool, but the amenities throughout the hotel are top-notch. What really stood out was the value for money—this price for a high-floor room with such great views? Definitely worth it. A small downside: the lobby is on the 70th floor, so you have to take the elevator up there first, then go down to your room—slightly inconvenient. Also, valet parking comes with an extra fee of about $80 per night, which pushes the total cost close to $250 for the room alone. Still, despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience was fantastic. I’d absolutely stay here again.

I booked this motel based on a high rating I saw on the platform, but honestly, it was extremely misleading. The walls were so thin we could hear absolutely everything from the couple next door—every word, even their pet names. It was incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassing. When we complained to management, they said they’d contacted the neighbors, who stopped briefly for about 10 minutes before resuming. They claimed they could only fix the fridge and tap the following week. We asked for a refund, but were denied outright. The staff offered zero empathy or real solutions. This place is poorly managed, and the overall experience was awful. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, not even as a last resort.
