I booked the open-plan king room, which is located at the end of each floor—so while there’s a slight hum from the elevator behind the wall (a faint sound like a plane passing by), it’s barely noticeable after 10 PM when foot traffic drops. The room itself is spacious and offers stunning views of the sea—perfect for morning coffee with a view. Complimentary toiletries and charging adapters were provided, which made things so convenient. The front desk staff were friendly and spoke fluent Chinese, making check-in smooth and welcoming—no distinction between domestic and international guests, which I truly appreciated. Since I had already paid in advance through the platform, no deposit was required at check-in. The housekeeping team was incredibly thorough—every time they cleaned, the room was spotless, and they even neatly arranged personal items. Overall, my three-day stay exceeded expectations. Getting around is a breeze: the MTR entrance is literally next to the hotel, and the Star Ferry stop is just a short walk away. Need to grab a quick bite? There are countless local cafés and tea restaurants nearby, but the real highlight was the hotel’s buffet. I couldn’t get enough of the mini pineapple buns—they were perfectly crispy on the outside, soft inside, and oh-so-delicious. Every baked item had such care and quality. On Christmas Eve, they even surprised us with a festive little tree-shaped dessert—so thoughtful! Plus, the front desk upgraded my room for free, which felt like a personal touch. Everyone from the lobby staff to housekeeping was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Even the little details like having travel adapters available made a big difference. There are plenty of dining options downstairs, but the breakfast buffet truly stole the show. So many choices, including authentic local Hong Kong treats, fresh-squeezed juices, and homemade egg tarts that were absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside, soft and custardy inside. Even on day two, I decided to stay in and enjoy breakfast again because it was just that good. The egg rolls were equally fantastic—freshly made and full of flavor. This hotel delivers incredible value and comfort, making it a top pick for any visit to Hong Kong.
