I got to the hotel at 10:30 AM, and check-in wasn’t until 3 PM. Luckily, the previous guest had already checked out, and the room was spotless. The staff were incredibly accommodating and let me check in early—such a thoughtful touch. I especially want to highlight Dmitry, who went above and beyond with his kindness and professionalism. After reading other guests’ feedback, I now understand why so many people rave about the team—when you experience their warmth firsthand, it’s impossible not to appreciate it. The room was immaculate, everything I needed was there, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The only minor downside? It’s a bit of a walk from some main attractions—but just a 3-minute stroll to the Vallcarca metro station on the green line, which makes getting around super easy. We're currently staying at this apartment, and while the kitchen is nice and open-plan with a good layout, there are some noticeable issues that affect the overall experience. The living room ledge has peeling paint, and in the kitchen, vinyl floor planks are separating—possibly due to past water damage. Getting to the unit requires carrying luggage up a narrow staircase before reaching the elevator, which isn’t ideal, especially with heavy bags or for elderly guests. There’s no storage space in the bathroom, and absolutely no shelf or ledge in the shower area to place soap or shampoo—very inconvenient. In the bedroom, we can clearly hear running water from the apartment above, and since we’re on the first floor, the train from the nearby metro station is audible and even felt through the floor. Trash must be taken out by guests upon check-out, which adds extra effort. A $300 deposit is required, refundable within 7 to 10 days—though it’s a bit of a hassle waiting for it back. Given the price point, we’d have preferred a regular hotel instead. We didn’t plan to cook, so the kitchen wasn’t a big advantage. For the cost, it doesn’t offer better value than a standard hotel stay.
