Breakfast was hands down the best I’ve ever had during 50 years of hotel stays—fresh, delicious, and served with genuine care. Jennifer went above and beyond with her kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness; she made us feel right at home. This stay wasn’t just comfortable—it was unforgettable. We stayed overnight in Glasgow before catching our flight back home, and it was the perfect choice. The hotel is centrally located—walking distance to the subway, making travel to the airport or to Celtic Park super convenient. Guests get access to a limited parking zone, which worked out well for us. The on-site restaurant served both breakfast and dinner with great quality and a cozy atmosphere. But what truly stood out was the staff. From the friendly check-in guy to Harry, who served our breakfast the next morning, everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Harry even gave us some thoughtful recommendations for things to see along the way to the stadium and airport—so much appreciated! The whole experience felt personal and welcoming. If we ever return to Glasgow, this would be our first pick again.

We had absolutely nothing negative to say about our stay at Cathedral House – it was truly exceptional from start to finish. The attic room was spacious, incredibly comfortable, and featured a cozy bed that made for perfect sleep. High-speed Wi-Fi and a smart TV added great convenience, while the entire space was spotless, warm, and inviting. Upon arrival, we were greeted with fresh fruit, milk, yogurt, cheese, and water waiting in the room – such a thoughtful touch. We also appreciated the iron, ironing board, clean towels, kettle, and even a cafetiere for coffee. The view from the attic window was breathtaking – overlooking Glasgow Necropolis and Provand’s Lordship, the oldest house in Glasgow. The property is very self-sufficient: check-in is done online with a key code, and the owner’s mobile number is provided should you need any assistance. While the room is up a few flights of stairs (no elevator), it wasn’t an issue for us and actually added to the charming, boutique feel. We explored the area on foot – the stunning Glasgow Cathedral is literally across the street, and a five-minute walk takes you to a large supermarket and a classic fish & chips shop. There’s also a lovely Italian restaurant on the ground floor of the building – perfect for dinner. The highlight? A delightful breakfast tray delivered to our door this morning with homemade granola, sourdough bread, and a delicious slice of cake. It was such a sweet surprise. Huge thanks to the owners – their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our stay unforgettable. This hidden gem in Glasgow is exactly what we look for: authentic, cozy, and full of heart. We’re already planning our return visit and will definitely bring friends along. You won’t be disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Holiday Inn Glasgow - City Ctr Theatreland—right in the heart of the city and incredibly convenient for exploring. I stayed here with a colleague during a work trip, and since our original hotel was fully booked, we were redirected to this one through the platform. The location is fantastic—steps away from theatres, restaurants, and public transit. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a great bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful, offering local tips upon check-in. It’s rare to find such a well-located, high-quality hotel at this price point. I’d definitely recommend it—and will be booking again on my next visit to Glasgow.

Located just a 5-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station, this Travelodge offers unbeatable convenience with countless pubs, cafés, and restaurants all within easy reach. Shopping options nearby cater to every taste and budget—perfect for a quick stroll after checking in. The only minor downside? I didn’t realize the room didn’t include a hairdryer until after my post-shower hair wash. Thankfully, it was a warm day, so my hair dried naturally without too much hassle. We even stopped by Bier Halle nearby—absolutely loved the vibe and selection of craft beers. Already planning our next stay here! Great value, excellent location, and a welcoming atmosphere—definitely recommend.

Located right across from Cobblers Bridge, it’s perfectly positioned to explore everything the old town has to offer—walking distance to shops, restaurants, and historic sites. The welcome drink upon check-in was a thoughtful touch that set a warm tone for our stay. The staff were consistently professional, courteous, and attentive without being overbearing. Our third-floor room faced the old town, offering a charming view of the city’s character. The elevator worked smoothly, and the room was well-insulated—noise from the street didn’t carry in at all, even late into the night. The double glazing made a noticeable difference. Inside, the space was clean, well-presented, and thoughtfully designed: a comfortable bed, excellent bathroom with a strong shower, ample wardrobe space, a safe, mini-fridge, and complimentary tea, coffee, and water. Breakfast was generous and varied—great quality and a real highlight. The only minor note is that the room felt quite warm during our stay; the air conditioning didn’t seem to be activated, possibly due to the season. Still, that didn’t dampen the overall experience. This is a top-tier choice in Glasgow, and I’d highly recommend booking here without hesitation.

Motel One Glasgow
The location couldn’t be better for families with lots of luggage—right next to the central station makes getting in and out a breeze. That said, it’s also close to a few bars, so there can be quite a bit of nightlife activity at night. It was generally safe, but on one occasion my family and I were walking back after buying water when some drunk people started shouting at us and asking for a lighter—definitely an unexpected moment! Still, the hotel itself was excellent overall. Clean rooms, great staff, and super convenient access to public transport. Highly recommend for travelers who value location and comfort.
