I Fu Hotel

Staying at I Fu Hotel in Macau was an absolute delight, especially for food lovers. Located just steps away from Rua de S. Francisco (New Town), the hotel puts you right in the heart of a vibrant culinary paradise. Walk downstairs and you're surrounded by local eateries, family-run shops, and iconic street food stalls—perfect for everything from traditional pastéis de nata and pork buns to fresh water crab congee. Whether it's morning, noon, or late-night cravings, there's always something delicious to enjoy. The nearby souvenir market makes picking up local treats like almond cookies and beef jerky a breeze. Even after dark, the area stays lively with bustling night vendors. Plus, getting around to other attractions or crossing over to Taipa is super quick and convenient. If you love exploring food streets and soaking up authentic Macanese charm, this hotel is an unbeatable choice.

London Hotel

I was actually a bit anxious seeing so many negative reviews, but my experience turned out to be way better than expected. The price during the off-season was absolutely fantastic—great value for money. Getting here was super easy; a direct bus from the airport dropped me off right at the doorstep with no transfers needed. There are tons of local eateries around, all authentic and affordable—perfect for exploring the real vibe of Macau. My room was spotless and very well maintained, with no annoying overhead lights that turn on when you move in bed—ideal for light-sensitive sleepers like me. Even with the windows closed, I couldn’t hear any street noise unless someone was shouting loudly in the hallway. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely book again if I’m back in Macau.

Hotel Man Va

I came in expecting just a quick, budget-friendly stay to get through one night, but the experience completely exceeded my expectations. Located right in the heart of Macau, this hotel offers incredible value for just a few hundred dollars—easy access by bus or metro, just a short walk from the station, tucked away in a quiet alleyway. What truly surprised me was how clean the room was—even the bathroom corners showed no signs of mold or grime. Despite its age, the space felt spotless and well-maintained, which is rare at this price point. The hot water came on fast and delivered strong pressure—perfect for a relaxing shower. The bathroom’s dry/wet separation with odor-free curtains was a thoughtful touch. Friendly staff greeted me warmly during the holiday season and even handed me two big apples with a cheerful 'Merry Christmas!'—such a sweet surprise. The outlets were universal, so I didn’t need any adapter—huge plus for international travelers. The bed was comfy, the linens were crisp and clean, and I slept like a baby. Plus, they offer free luggage storage, which made checking out early much more convenient. This place delivers far more than you’d expect for the price. If you’re visiting Macau on a budget, don’t overlook this gem—it’s a hidden winner!

Caravel Hotel

I treated myself to a relaxing 3D2N mini getaway to Macau Peninsula, expecting just a simple break, but was pleasantly surprised by how walkable the hotel is—within minutes, I was exploring charming spots perfect for photos and stumbling upon hidden local eateries that aren’t on any travel blog. When I arrived early, I was about to leave my luggage at the front desk and head out, but a friendly front desk staff member kindly offered to let me check in early. That way, I could freshen up quickly before heading out for dinner and wandering around in the heat—such a thoughtful gesture! Throughout my stay, every team member showed genuine warmth and proactive service, making me feel truly welcomed. The only tiny suggestion: the wooden bathroom door’s latch feels a bit too tight—each time you open or close it, it requires extra effort. A slight adjustment would make it much more user-friendly. Overall, this experience was exceptional, and I’m already planning another deep-dive trip here next early year. Highly recommend!

Ole Tai Sam Un Hotel

The hotel is super easy to find, with all the great spots on the peninsula just a short walk away. From the airport, you can take a taxi to 'New Macau' and then stroll over in about 15 minutes—perfect for easing into the vibe. Alternatively, hop on a bus and get off at the 'Xin Ma Lu Jinbi Cultural Station,' which is also very close. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful—everyone I met had a warm smile and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The room was spotless, well-ventilated (windows open easily), and the air conditioning kept things refreshingly cool. I loved being able to check in early and leave my luggage behind while exploring the area. Right outside, there’s a fantastic local eatery serving amazing beef tripe soup and a famous bakery with the most delicious pastries nearby—perfect for a quick bite. Special thanks to the front desk lady who lent me a card; I got so caught up in sightseeing that I nearly missed my flight, but she didn’t seem bothered at all. She even said, ‘Come back and see us!’ That kind of genuine hospitality really made the trip memorable. Definitely coming back!

Macau Masters Hotel

I ended up booking a last-minute stay in Macau, and this hotel was the first option I saw on the platform. Honestly, I was a bit nervous when I booked it—its name felt a little old-school, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance. The location is fantastic—super close to everything, and perfect for an early morning island run. The room isn't huge, but it's well-designed and feels surprisingly spacious, with clean, modern touches throughout. Best of all? You can walk out the door and be surrounded by great food options—breakfast spots, street snacks, dinner joints—all within steps. No need to wander far. It’s such a convenient, no-fuss place with excellent value. I’d definitely book here again next time I’m in Macau.

CITY INN

I'm back at City Inn, and it feels just like coming home—familiar, comfortable, and full of little touches that make a difference. The motorized curtains are such a convenience; I can open them effortlessly for fresh air and natural light. I love sipping on the Malaysian Penang Coffee Tree white coffee while enjoying the view—perfect morning ritual. The Jing Tian purified water is always stocked, which I really appreciate. Even better? Seeing my favorite staff member, Xiao Qin, again—he was so friendly and went the extra mile by arranging a 1 PM check-out without hesitation. That kind of personal touch makes all the difference. Clean rooms, thoughtful amenities, and genuine hospitality—this place hits all the right notes. Definitely planning to stay here again on my next trip to Macau. Highly recommended!

Dormy Boutique Hotel

Staying at Dormy Boutique Hotel in the heart of Macau was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the main pedestrian street, with countless dining options, shops, and entertainment right outside the door. It’s perfect for both business travelers and tourists who want convenience without compromise. The staff truly stood out—friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they went the extra mile by confirming reservations, making pre-arrival calls, and offering thoughtful recommendations. The room itself was spotless, beautifully designed with a blend of traditional Chinese and modern touches. I especially loved the high-quality amenities: Dyson hairdryer, memory foam pillows, smart voice control via Xiao Du, and a well-designed bathroom with complete separation between wet and dry areas. Everything felt clean, fresh, and comfortable, including the soft, odor-free linens. Public transport access is excellent, with multiple bus stops nearby, and the hotel offers free luggage storage—a real bonus for early arrivals or late departures. That said, a few guests mentioned minor concerns: occasional insect sightings (like cockroaches), inconsistent soundproofing leading to nighttime noise interference, and occasionally unreliable air conditioning. These are definitely areas for improvement, but overall, the hotel delivers strong value for money, exceptional service, and a pleasant stay. If you’re looking for a central, well-appointed hotel in Macau with warm hospitality, this is definitely worth considering.

SAN TUNG FONG COMMERCIAL INN NORTH WING

This is definitely a no-brainer choice for great value in Macau. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Rua de S. Francisco, just under a 5-minute walk to Praça do Senado, and super close to major attractions like the Ruins of St. Paul's and The Venetian Macao. Everything you need—local street food, shopping streets, and sightseeing spots—is literally around the corner. The room itself is clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed with a calming white-green color scheme. I especially appreciated the separate shower area—great for privacy and convenience. As an economical option, the price point is incredibly fair for Macau. Plus, the 24-hour front desk offers luggage storage, which was perfect for early check-ins or late departures. Staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Overall, this place delivers more than expected—highly recommend for travelers who want comfort, convenience, and quality without breaking the bank.

PENSÃO FAMÍLIA (RUA DAS ESTALAGENS)

This little gem, PENSÃO FAMÍLIA (RUA DAS ESTALAGENS), might be small in size, but it truly packs a punch—compact yet well-equipped with everything you need. The location is fantastic: right on the edge of the bustling Rua das Estalagens, super close to public transit and all kinds of local eateries and shops. I was really impressed by the value for money—especially at this price point. The only downside? Early check-out time. We hadn’t even reached 11 AM when we got a call reminding us to vacate the room, which felt a bit rushed. Also, the TV signal isn’t the best—many channels were either weak or unavailable, with only about five clearly receivable. Still, that didn’t ruin the overall experience. If you're looking for a convenient, no-frills stay in Macau without breaking the bank, this place is definitely worth considering. Great for solo travelers or those just passing through who want comfort and accessibility without the high cost.

Grande Hotel Macau

Staying at Grande Hotel Macau was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—just a 10-15 minute walk from Senado Square, with the popular Kanggong Night Market right next door. Bus stops to Taipa and the airport are literally steps away, making travel super convenient. I highly recommend two long-standing gems in the night market: Shun De Jian Hua Food and Da Long Feng Teahouse. The shrimp balls at Da Long Feng are absolutely outstanding—freshly made with real shrimp, rich in flavor, and even featured on the Wu Ha team’s visit. There’s even a photo of Zhou Shen hanging on the wall! We enjoyed breakfast there for two consecutive days—perfect for a morning pick-me-up. The hotel itself is brand new and immaculately clean. Everything from towels to bedding is fresh and disposable, which gives peace of mind. Even the single room came with an impressive number of hangers—so thoughtful! The front desk staff were friendly and professional, especially Manager Li, who went above and beyond when a small issue arose due to personal circumstances. He patiently helped resolve everything and even arranged our access card to work on both the 2nd floor (where we stayed) and the 6th floor (where our elder family members were), which made things incredibly smooth. One minor note: no hand soap or bar soap provided in the room, but that’s a tiny trade-off. Overall, this place offers incredible value for money. Some rooms even have sea views—definitely worth booking if you're visiting Macau!

Towns Well Motel

Staying at Towns Well Motel in Macau was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and the rooms are quiet with excellent sound insulation—perfect for a good night's sleep. It’s located on a slight incline, so there’s a short walk uphill to reach it, but once you’re inside, the effort is totally worth it. The location is fantastic: just a quick stroll down the hill leads you straight into a vibrant area filled with restaurants, shops, and local charm. It’s also very close to major attractions like Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul’s, making sightseeing super convenient. I especially appreciated that they offer free luggage storage for a full day—even if you're not staying overnight—which was incredibly helpful for early arrivals or late departures. With its unbeatable value, friendly service, and peaceful atmosphere, this place stands out among other budget-friendly options in Macau. Highly recommended for travelers who want comfort without the premium price.
