The overall experience was excellent. The hotel is perfectly located in a vibrant area of Zurich, with a stylish and modern design that feels both unique and comfortable. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The only minor issue was the pre-authorization hold on our card, which hadn’t been released after a week. We reached out to customer support through the platform, and they confirmed the hotel had lifted it, though the bank might take up to a month to fully clear the hold—something we understand is standard. Despite this small delay, it didn’t affect our stay at all. Highly recommend this hotel for its great location, atmosphere, and value.

Staying at Hotel Stoller was an excellent experience. From Zurich Airport, taking bus routes 16 or 33 is convenient and actually saves about 6 minutes compared to going directly to Zurich HB. However, the buses don’t run as frequently as the nearby tram lines 2 and 3, which are always available with seats. The room faces the quiet courtyard—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Daily cleaning is thorough, and I really appreciated the complimentary four bottles of drinks each day. The apple stand downstairs offers fresh, sweet-and-sour apples that are a delightful treat. The bed is slightly narrow, but that’s typical for 4-star hotels in Germany and Austria, so it’s not surprising. I checked out both M and Coop supermarkets—ended up choosing Coop because the one near the tram stop (5–6 stops from the hotel, right next to a McDonald’s) has the widest selection. Late October to mid-November, outdoor temperatures were around 10°C, but the room’s heating made it cozy and comfortable throughout. Overall, great value, exceptional comfort, and a fantastic location—definitely planning to return.

Breakfast costs 30 CHF but is totally worth it: fresh pastries, local jams, handmade bread, and excellent coffee. Every detail feels thoughtfully curated. I’d give it 10/10 without hesitation—this is one of those rare stays that truly stands out.

I booked the most affordable room—a loft-style space—and while it’s compact, it felt open and airy, not at all cramped. The design is modern yet cozy, with thoughtful touches throughout. One thing to note: extending your stay means a noticeable price increase, so if you’re planning to stay longer, book your full duration upfront. Overall, this is one of the best value stays in Zurich, especially for those who appreciate a calm, well-maintained place with great access.
