Staying at Hotel Stoller was an excellent experience. From Zurich Airport, taking bus routes 16 or 33 is convenient and actually saves about 6 minutes compared to going directly to Zurich HB. However, the buses don’t run as frequently as the nearby tram lines 2 and 3, which are always available with seats. The room faces the quiet courtyard—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Daily cleaning is thorough, and I really appreciated the complimentary four bottles of drinks each day. The apple stand downstairs offers fresh, sweet-and-sour apples that are a delightful treat. The bed is slightly narrow, but that’s typical for 4-star hotels in Germany and Austria, so it’s not surprising. I checked out both M and Coop supermarkets—ended up choosing Coop because the one near the tram stop (5–6 stops from the hotel, right next to a McDonald’s) has the widest selection. Late October to mid-November, outdoor temperatures were around 10°C, but the room’s heating made it cozy and comfortable throughout. Overall, great value, exceptional comfort, and a fantastic location—definitely planning to return.

Still, public transport access is good, and getting around via the tram or subway is straightforward. Breakfast was a highlight—surprisingly good, especially having smoked salmon 🍣 on the menu. Fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth mentioning. For a European hotel, this kind of breakfast offering stands out, making the stay feel more worthwhile.
