This hotel is absolutely outstanding in every way! The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile—helpful, attentive, and flexible whenever needed. Located in a prime spot, everything you could want is just steps away: public transportation, restaurants, the European Union headquarters, Parc du Cinquantenaire, and its excellent museums. The convenience of being so centrally located without sacrificing comfort is truly impressive. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped, making it a perfect base for exploring Brussels. Whether traveling for business or leisure, this place delivers an exceptional experience. I’ll definitely be returning.

The air conditioning could be stronger, especially during hot summer days, but it still kept the room comfortable enough. What really stood out was the in-suite amenities—the kitchen was fully equipped, including a dishwasher, which made cooking and meal prep so much easier and more enjoyable. Having your own kitchen space is a huge plus, especially if you're traveling with family or planning to eat in. Overall, great value for money and a welcoming stay.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained—perfect for both business and leisure stays. What stood out was the thoughtful in-room amenities: a fridge stocked with an iron, ironing board, glasses, cups, spoons, and even a kettle made preparing meals or hot drinks incredibly easy. The water dispenser right at the entrance is a real plus—free, fresh water anytime, which is super convenient when you're on the go. The only minor issue was that the sink drain tended to clog slightly, but it didn’t affect the overall experience. With such a great balance of comfort, location, and practicality, I’d definitely book again the next time I visit Brussels.

No front desk or physical keys—everything is managed via digital door codes, which added a nice touch of convenience and privacy. There’s an intercom at the entrance, so staff are always reachable if needed. It’s a seamless, hassle-free experience without sacrificing warmth or service. A true gem in the city!

Staying at Smartflats Design - L42 in Brussels was a major disappointment. While the apartment is spacious and located in a convenient area with easy access to public transit, the price—nearly €1,000 per week—is completely unjustified for what you get. The unit was extremely dirty, showing clear signs of neglect and in desperate need of a thorough cleaning. All major appliances were broken: dishwasher, coffee maker, hairdryer, and even the TV didn’t work—this is unacceptable for a 4-star rated property. Communication was limited to the platform’s app (Watts), with slow and unhelpful responses. To make matters worse, despite being in a business district, we experienced loud noise from nearby venues nearly every night, with music and chatter going on until around 4 AM—hardly quiet or peaceful. It was almost like staying in a nightclub, which isn’t ideal for families or anyone seeking rest. Overall, the experience fell far short of expectations. With such poor condition, unreliable service, and lack of basic functionality, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Not worth the high price at all.

Smartflats City - Manneken Pis
Located in the heart of Brussels, this property is perfect for exploring the city on foot—super convenient and close to everything. However, be warned: it’s extremely noisy, especially during weekends, so it’s ideal if you’re here for partying rather than a peaceful night’s sleep. During our two-day stay, we had no hot water in the shower, and despite multiple calls to the front desk, there was zero response from the team. The platform claims 24/7 support, but we were left completely unassisted. Communication was non-existent, and no staff member reached out even after repeated attempts. While the location is a strong plus, the lack of basic service and reliability makes this experience frustrating. Not recommended if you value comfort or responsive guest service.
