I chose this hotel because it’s just a short walk from the theater where I was attending the play 'Once as It Was,' and every part of the experience was seamless. From check-in to check-out, the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely attentive—especially the front desk agent, Gu Pan, whose friendly demeanor made a lasting impression. The room I booked was the smallest option, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a freestanding soaking tub—a delightful bonus I didn’t expect (though I didn’t get to use it!). The location is unbeatable: directly facing Xujiahui Library and the Catholic Church, offering a peaceful morning view. Check-out was quick and smooth, and there’s a dedicated counter for luggage storage, which is super convenient. Overall, the service, ambiance, and attention to detail made this stay exceptional. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Shanghai.

The location is unbeatable—just a 5-minute walk to the Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, with subway lines 2 and 10 right nearby. Getting around Shanghai couldn’t be easier. The room was clean, modern, and comfortably spacious, with a great bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. What really stood out was the staff—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They went the extra mile without making you feel like a burden. It’s clear they care about guest experience. For a well-located, no-frills hotel with genuine warmth, this is a top pick. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to Shanghai.
