It’s only about 10 minutes on foot to the famous Liuhe Night Market—perfect for evening strolls and local eats. Getting to the airport takes roughly 30–40 minutes by car or taxi, which is very manageable. The location is unbeatable, especially with a FamilyMart right downstairs—great for late-night snacks or essentials without having to leave the building. The front desk staff were friendly and always ready to help, whether it was grabbing water or answering questions. The room itself was spacious and well-designed, with a separate bathroom and shower area—so practical and comfortable. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully done. I’d definitely recommend this place and would stay here again if I’m back in Kaohsiung.

The area is quiet and peaceful, yet everything you need is just a 5-minute drive away—supermarkets like FamilyMart and Homeplus, McDonald’s, and even the lively Guanghua Night Market are within walking distance. The room itself was surprisingly spacious, especially the bathroom with a generous-sized bathtub. You can tell it’s been recently renovated—the clean lines and fresh touches really stand out. Breakfast is delivered to your door early each morning (before 7 AM) based on how many guests are staying, which is such a thoughtful touch for a hassle-free start to the day. Only open for dining during weekends, but that works well for those who prefer a more relaxed experience. They also provided an electric mosquito repellent and a mosquito racket—though we didn’t see any bugs during our stay, it’s reassuring to know they’re prepared. One minor downside: the air conditioning was inconsistent, switching between hot and cold unexpectedly, and they even threw in a remote-controlled fan as backup (which actually came in handy!). The showerhead had a weak flow and the water stream was too fine, making showers less than ideal. But overall, the cleanliness, location, and value make up for these small quirks. Definitely recommend this eco-friendly stay if you're looking for comfort without breaking the bank.

I got a surprise bonus at work the week after, and I’m convinced it’s linked to that little charm. The hostel itself is clean, cozy, and full of local charm. Great value, great vibes, and definitely my go-to spot when I return to Kaohsiung.

While the soundproofing isn’t perfect (heard some noise from neighboring rooms, probably due to late-night chatter), it didn’t ruin the stay. Essentials like towels, bath towels, hairdryer, kettle, tea & coffee supplies, and disposable cups are provided—though I’d still recommend bringing your own toiletries for comfort. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a short walk to Dali Department Store, close to Hanshin Mall, and a quick ride on the MRT to the lively Liouhe Night Market or the farther Ruifeng area. Overall, this place offers great value, a peaceful retreat, and excellent access to everything. Definitely worth a stay if you’re visiting Kaohsiung.
