Located just a 5-minute walk from Meilidao Station in the heart of Kaohsiung, this place is incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The hotel has a cozy café on the ground floor—perfect for relaxing with a coffee or working remotely. The staff are friendly and speak English fluently, offering helpful tips about the shared lounge and kitchen facilities during check-in. While the building isn’t brand new, the rooms are stylishly designed and feel modern and clean. I was especially impressed by the strong shower pressure—really refreshing after a long day. There’s also a free relaxation area right outside the room, stocked with a great selection of magazines and books, including some cool Japanese lifestyle titles. It’s a fantastic space to work on your laptop or just unwind. I stayed for several nights, and even when I wasn’t in my room, I still felt at home—peaceful, welcoming, and full of little details that make it stand out. A truly enjoyable stay with excellent value.

Staying at With Inn Hostel in Kaohsiung was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk to Xinqiujang Night Market and about a 12-minute stroll to Liuchu Night Market, perfect for food lovers who don’t want to travel far. Right nearby is Guotianzi Beiji Temple, a 10-minute walk away, where I picked up a lucky money charm said to bring prosperity—seriously, it felt like magic! I got a surprise bonus at work the week after, and I’m convinced it’s linked to that little charm. The hostel itself is clean, cozy, and full of local charm. Great value, great vibes, and definitely my go-to spot when I return to Kaohsiung.

Staying here during the off-season was an absolute steal—my twin room cost under 300 HKD per night, and the value couldn’t be better. The room was well-equipped with a large TV that supports YouTube and Netflix, perfect for relaxing evenings. The chaise lounge was a nice touch, and the bathroom featured a high-end bidet toilet that made every visit comfortable. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered excellent views of the outside sky and weather—great for waking up to natural light. Even though the hotel is on a mid-level floor, the room felt spacious and airy, with no compromise on size. Noise insulation was surprisingly good; if you hear footsteps occasionally, they provide earplugs—simple but effective. The desk was functional and thoughtfully designed, and the bedside reading lamp added a cozy, stylish vibe. Breakfast was free and seriously impressive—fresh, tasty, and varied, definitely not an afterthought. There’s also a self-service laundry and dryer, which is super convenient for longer stays. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—right downstairs from bus stops with routes going everywhere. Staff during daytime were friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was top-notch: the ground floor has polished wooden flooring, and everything was spotless. Overall, this place exceeded expectations—highly recommend and please keep up the great work!

Even though it’s on the second floor and tucked away in a quiet alleyway, I wasn’t disturbed by any outside noise—total peace and privacy. The location is convenient yet peaceful, and everything about the experience felt well thought out. This place has a great vibe, excellent value, and I’d definitely book again. I appreciated having a hairdryer, towel, and shampoo provided, though toothbrushes were not included (but that’s common). Hot water pressure was excellent—great for a refreshing shower. There’s also an on-site laundry machine, which is super convenient for longer stays or travelers needing to freshen up clothes. Location-wise, it’s ideal—right next to both MRT and light rail stations, making it easy to explore downtown Kaohsiung. On the second floor, there’s a popcorn machine and a hot coffee maker—perfect for a quick caffeine fix in the morning. I rented a bike and rode down to Love River Pier, enjoying the scenic riverside views at night. The atmosphere was romantic and peaceful. Breakfast was a highlight—plenty of options, fresh and tasty. Honestly, I’d love to come back again. Great value, great location, and a wonderful stay overall.

Staying at Kindness Hotel Sandou in Kaohsiung was a highlight of my trip! I highly recommend this location if you're visiting the city—especially because it offers late-night dining options. I had dinner right at the hotel and enjoyed their fresh boiled meat sauce rice noodles and hot dishes, all very authentic and delicious. The sweet bean curd dessert was a perfect ending to the meal. Just steps away is a lively night market with affordable street food—perfect for casual browsing and eating until you're full. While the room is modest in size, the classic decor is clean and cozy, making it feel welcoming. Breakfast included freshly made egg pancakes and radish cake—warm, tasty, and satisfying. There's also an in-house self-service coffee and tea station with free ice cream, which was a nice touch. The staff are friendly and attentive throughout the stay. With great value, convenient location, and warm hospitality, I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next visit to Kaohsiung.

The private balcony offered stunning harbor views—perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. A small note: walls are a bit thin, so some noise from neighboring rooms carried through at night. Check-in is at 4 PM, which feels late, and checkout by 11 AM is early—but the keyless entry via passcode adds a nice layer of security and convenience. Overall, this is a well-priced, welcoming stay ideal for travelers who want to immerse themselves in art, culture, and urban vibes. Highly recommend for anyone exploring the district.

Spontaneous trip to Kaohsiung led me to this hidden gem — Chillax Inn Zhile Love River Branch. The exterior is unassuming, but once you step inside, the vibe instantly improves. Self-check-in/check-out kiosks make the process super smooth and efficient—no waiting in line. The room itself is clean, cozy, and well-maintained with a simple yet stylish design. While the soundproofing isn’t perfect (heard some noise from neighboring rooms, probably due to late-night chatter), it didn’t ruin the stay. Essentials like towels, bath towels, hairdryer, kettle, tea & coffee supplies, and disposable cups are provided—though I’d still recommend bringing your own toiletries for comfort. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a short walk to Dali Department Store, close to Hanshin Mall, and a quick ride on the MRT to the lively Liouhe Night Market or the farther Ruifeng area. Overall, this place offers great value, a peaceful retreat, and excellent access to everything. Definitely worth a stay if you’re visiting Kaohsiung.
