Aloha Lodge

We stayed at Aloha Lodge for six nights, right between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, and absolutely loved every moment. From the very beginning, we connected with Annette, the owner, and by the time we arrived, it felt like visiting dear friends — warm, welcoming, and completely relaxed. We shared meals together, grilled outdoors, attended an open-air movie screening, and joined a live concert for New Year’s Eve — all thoughtfully organized by Annette, who was always present and involved. The other guests were friendly and harmonious, creating a truly special vibe. We booked a small garden cottage with an en-suite bathroom and a tiny kitchenette. Our private terrace was perfect for quiet moments, but we also enjoyed the shared spaces, including the large outdoor dining area and the inviting poolside zone. It was easy to choose whether to be alone or mingle with others. The cottage itself was cozy and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and daily cleaning — we slept really well. Located in a peaceful side street in Milnerton, the lodge is ideally situated: close to Cape Town’s city center and just minutes from Sunset Beach and Bloubergstrand. There are great restaurants nearby, plenty of supermarkets, and even a lovely German bakery. Our car was safely parked on-site throughout our stay. If we ever return to Cape Town, this will be our first choice again. The laid-back, heartfelt atmosphere, combined with unbeatable value, made this experience unforgettable. Thank you, Annette, for such a wonderful stay in our favorite city!

The pool area is spacious and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring. What truly stood out was the staff’s genuine care and attention. Especially grateful to the manager, Wilmo, who personally remembered our breakfast preferences—my husband doesn’t like eggs cooked the usual way, and Wilmo made sure they were prepared just right. That kind of thoughtful service makes all the difference. You can tell everyone here genuinely wants you to have a great stay. It’s not just about comfort—it’s about feeling welcomed and valued.
