Breakfast was simple but adequate: coffee or cappuccino, non-natural orange juice, and a choice of croissant. Service was efficient, and the food was decent. Despite the issue with one room, the rest of the experience was positive, especially the hospitality and prime location. He refused any refund beyond the 18 euro city tax. Then, without prompting, he offered a 100 euro refund if we gave him a 9-star review—clearly trying to manipulate feedback. We immediately declined. Being reasonable, we suggested that if he cleaned the apartment, fixed the shower, and refunded the cost of the first night (60 euros plus the tax already given), we’d give him an 8-star review—no higher.
