The hotel isn’t right next to the metro station—there’s a short walk involved—and it’s located in a quieter area, not the heart of the city’s buzz. But for the price, it’s definitely worth it if you’re looking for a clean, no-frills place to stay without breaking the bank. The room was simple but well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and good lighting. However, the staff could use some improvement. I was asked to provide my passport upon check-in, then later told I needed to pay the city tax—confusing and unnecessary. Even worse, I was handed the wrong key card initially, which caused some confusion before getting it sorted out. It’s a small issue, but with better training and clearer communication, this could be a great budget-friendly option. Still, for the price, it’s hard to complain too much.

Still, it’s part of the charm of being located in a coastal urban setting with authentic Lisbon vibes. The hostel itself belongs to a well-known chain, so the facilities are top-notch: clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Beds are comfortable, common areas are spacious, and the overall atmosphere feels safe and welcoming. One small downside? There’s no private lockers in the rooms, so you’ll need to store valuables carefully or use the shared lockers. That said, the location, safety, and value for money make it an excellent choice—especially for solo travelers or those wanting to explore Lisbon on foot. I’d definitely come back.
