This eco-luxury retreat offers private pools, direct access to the cenote’s underground waters, and guided nature walks through lush jungle trails. The architecture blends traditional Mayan design with modern comfort, and many rooms feature views of the sunlit cave formations. Perfect for travelers seeking both pristine cenote access and immersive ecological experiences in the heart of the Yucatán Peninsula.
No reservation is required for Casa Cenote, but visiting early morning is recommended to avoid crowds. Must-do experiences include floating through the underground river channel, marveling at the ethereal light filtering through the limestone ceiling; capturing photos during the golden hour when sunlight pierces the cavern; and hiking along ancient jungle trails to secluded hidden pools. Some guided tours also offer insights into Mayan spiritual traditions and the cenote’s ecological significance. Bring waterproof gear, non-slip shoes, and fresh water for an optimal and safe adventure.
From Tulum town, you can reach Casa Cenote via three main options: walking or renting an e-bike (about 15 minutes through tropical jungle paths), hailing a taxi (8–10 minutes, $30–40 MXN), or joining a guided tour bus that includes entry tickets and expert commentary. Avoid driving your own car—parking is limited and roads are narrow. For a deeper experience, opt for an eco-tour package that provides round-trip transport, safety equipment, and professional guides trained in cenote conservation and Maya heritage.
The water at Casa Cenote is exceptionally clear and safe for swimming, fed by natural carbonate groundwater filtered over centuries. Water temperature stays between 26–28°C year-round, ideal for floating and snorkeling. Key safety tips: wear non-slip footwear to prevent falls on wet rocks; avoid sunscreen or chemical goggles to protect the fragile ecosystem; do not touch the cave walls, which are delicate and easily damaged. Life vests and flotation devices are provided by guides—recommended for beginners. Also, refrain from feeding wildlife or disturbing bats and fish. Respect these rules to help preserve this unique karst environment for future generations.
Near Casa Cenote in Tulum, Casa de los Cielos Eco Lodge stands out as a top choice. Nestled directly beside the cenote, it offers private pool rooms with direct access to the crystalline natural pool. Built using local stone and bamboo, the lodge embodies zero-carbon design principles and provides guided tours into the underground river system. Guests can witness breathtaking morning light beams filtering through the cave ceiling—a truly immersive jungle immersion experience.
The journey from Tulum town to Casa Cenote takes about 15 minutes by car. The most popular options are renting an electric scooter or motorcycle, which allows easy navigation through lush jungle paths with well-marked signs. Alternatively, taxis or guided eco-tours with pickup services are available. Avoid peak hours to minimize crowds and enjoy the pristine tranquility of the site’s natural setting.
Diving at Casa Cenote is exceptional due to the striking light shaft effect, where sunlight pierces the water surface, creating ethereal beams. With consistent water temperatures of 26–28°C and visibility exceeding 10 meters, it's ideal for both beginners and experienced divers. Bring your own BCD, mask, and fins, though rental gear is available on-site. Always follow eco-guidelines—avoid touching corals or rock formations—to protect this delicate karst ecosystem.
Beyond diving and cliff jumping, Casa Cenote offers thrilling high-platform jumps from a 3-meter ledge into the deep cenote pool. Morning yoga and meditation sessions are held at the cavern entrance, blending natural sounds with solar energy for deep mindfulness. Some tours also include ancient Maya cultural talks, revealing the site’s sacred significance in pre-Columbian rituals—offering insight into the timeless harmony between nature and spirituality.
Casa Cenote operates daily from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. To avoid crowds, arrive before 7:00 AM, when the site opens. The park uses a timed-entry system—book your slot online in advance for guaranteed access. For the quietest experience, visit on Mondays or Wednesdays, when visitor numbers are lowest. Strict eco-conservation rules are enforced, including no plastic use; guests are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles to help preserve this valuable natural heritage site.

This is hands down the most incredible jungle hotel I've ever stayed at—no exaggeration. The moment you step onto the property, you're immersed in a serene, lush tropical paradise. Free bikes and kayaks let you explore the surrounding rainforest and crystal-clear waters at your own pace, and the cenote adventure tours are unforgettable. While there's only one restaurant nearby (and prices are a bit on the high side), the food quality and setting make it worth it—especially dining by the pool at sunset. The whole experience feels special, authentic, and deeply relaxing. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with a touch of adventure, this place delivers everything. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

This place is pure magic from the moment you arrive. Special thanks to Mr. Clemente for his warm welcome and for making every day unforgettable. The entire staff goes above and beyond, always attentive and thoughtful—truly exceptional service. This was hands down my best vacation ever, and I’m already planning my return. The restaurant is absolutely incredible—top-quality food with flavors that linger in memory. The rooms are stunning, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed. Dining here with a view of the surroundings at night? Absolutely dreamy. Every detail feels intentional, creating an experience that’s truly unforgettable. I can’t recommend this place enough—and yes, I’m already thinking about coming back. Thank you for making our getaway so magical!

The resort overall was an excellent experience—beautiful setting, great location, and friendly staff. However, there were a few areas that could use improvement. Several restaurants only opened on a rotating basis, with just two available daily, so we couldn’t try all the dining options. That said, it’s disappointing for a property of this caliber. More concerning was the cleanliness issue near our room—guests from the adjacent unit kept ordering meals, and leftover food was left in the hallway for days. A fork remained on the stairs for four full days with no one picking it up. The poolside snack bar served burgers and light bites for one day but was completely closed for two others while we were at the pool. Instead of service, we found scattered food remnants where birds were feeding, and no staff appeared to clean up. Only late in the afternoon did someone show up to collect the trash—but they didn’t even wipe down the counters or clean the grills. These lapses are hard to overlook for a resort that markets itself as top-tier. Despite these shortcomings, the rest of the stay was fantastic. With tighter operational oversight, this place could easily be flawless.

I absolutely loved the concept and vibe of Cervecería Tulum Boutique Hotel & Beer Spa—it’s such a peaceful retreat with a unique, authentic charm. From the moment I arrived, Marco and Abraham made me feel welcome and truly cared for, which made my solo trip even more special. I came here to unwind and celebrate my birthday, and they went above and beyond to make it unforgettable—thoughtful touches, great recommendations, and genuine hospitality that really stood out. The property is beautifully designed with a cool beer-themed aesthetic, perfect for photos, and the two pools are serene and refreshing. It's quiet, intimate, and feels like a hidden gem. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with character and personal attention, this place is a must-visit. Truly exceptional service and a memorable stay—I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Had an amazing stay at Siente Tulum! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Tulum Ruins and the national park, with collectivo shuttles stopping right outside the property. That made getting around super easy and stress-free. The staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help. The food was fresh and well-prepared, though a bit more variety would’ve been nice—still, it’s a solid all-inclusive experience for the price. A couple of minor issues: our door (room 319) didn’t latch securely unless slammed shut, and we had a brief water pressure issue one night, but the team responded quickly and fixed it within 30 minutes. Despite those small hiccups, the overall vibe, comfort, and hospitality really shine through. This place has real potential, and I’d definitely come back again.

I’m not usually one to give a one-star rating, but as someone who owns vacation rentals across four countries, I have high expectations. The property itself was clean and pleasant enough. However, what really stood out was how indifferent the owners seemed. There were absolutely no signs to guide guests—extremely hard to find. Once I finally located the place, nobody was available to check me in. It was sweltering outside, and I ended up waiting over 30 minutes before someone showed up. To make matters worse, there was an unexpected $50 charge. I sent a screenshot of my Visa statement to the manager, only to get a reply saying, 'Our processor doesn’t show that fee.' But clearly, the hotel is listed as the payee, and two other charges are correctly reflected. How could this happen? I explained that disputing the charge would trigger Citibank to freeze my card and issue a replacement—but since I live in Mexico, it would take five weeks to get a new one. That’s a huge hassle. Thankfully, Citibank understood the situation and credited the $50 today. Still, this whole experience was a major time-waster for someone with a packed schedule. If you’re looking for a stress-free stay, this isn’t the place. You decide.

Staying at Crucero Tulum was an absolute delight! This B&B is perfectly located right at the start of the road leading to the Tulum Mayan ruins and the beautiful beaches—super convenient for exploring on foot or by public transit. The room was simple but clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed, fully working air conditioning, a functional bathroom, and strong Wi-Fi. The included breakfast was modest but satisfying, and the overall value was outstanding. Honestly, the photos online don’t do this place justice—our experience blew past expectations. It’s rare to find such a welcoming, well-maintained stay at this price point. If you're visiting Tulum, this is a top pick. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The hotel was completely closed upon arrival with no staff or communication available. I had already paid in advance, but there's been no response regarding a refund. It's extremely frustrating to book a stay only to find the property inaccessible and unresponsive. The lack of support from the platform has made the entire experience disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially given the lack of basic service and transparency.

Caleta Tankah is an absolute gem of a beach club with a pristine stretch of sand and a stunning natural cenote just steps away—perfect for swimming and taking those Instagram-worthy photos. The loungers are well-spaced and comfortable, and the restrooms are clean and well-maintained, which always makes a big difference. Entry is 300 pesos, and while outside food and drinks aren’t allowed, the on-site menu offers solid options—especially the burger with fries, which was surprisingly delicious: juicy meat, crispy fries, and great value for the price. That said, families should budget around €100 per day if you’re planning to eat and drink here. Still, considering the vibe, location, and overall experience, it’s definitely worth it for a relaxing, carefree day by the sea. A must-visit if you're in Tulum looking for a laid-back yet luxurious beach escape.
