There’s some traffic noise since the building faces the street, but it didn’t bother us at all—more of a charming urban soundtrack than a nuisance. The 1,000 EUR deposit might seem steep, but it makes sense given the property’s heritage and luxury feel. Overall, this place offers incredible value, character, and comfort. Highly recommend for travelers who appreciate history, design, and authentic local vibes.

We stayed in a three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit with a lift in the building, making everything super convenient. The area is lively with tourists but also very residential, quiet at night, and safe. Public transport is within walking distance—metro and bus stops are right outside. There are plenty of nearby shops: supermarkets, bakeries, delis, cafes, and great restaurants. Parking on the street is tough, so I’d recommend booking a spot at one of the nearby covered parking lots in advance. The front desk is located inside the building, but we found it often closed during our stay. Check-out was smooth despite no one being present, and our deposit was refunded about a week later without any hassle. Overall, this place exceeded all expectations. If we ever return to Barcelona, we’ll definitely book here again—it’s truly a gem.
