My family visited Guangzhou and stayed at this apartment, and I can confidently say we made the right choice. It’s far more comfortable than a typical hotel—spacious rooms with smart layouts that feel open and bright. Having a washing machine and fridge was such a convenience for our trip. The bed was perfect—not too soft, not too hard—and the room was spotlessly clean with no signs of dirt or insects, which gave us peace of mind. Hot water was plentiful and consistently warm, making showers a real treat. Located just steps from the subway entrance, getting around to attractions and shopping areas was incredibly easy. The front desk staff were friendly and went the extra mile to share local tips—recommendations for hidden gems, must-visit spots, and nearby eateries. It felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being at home, with all the comfort and flexibility you’d want. If we ever return to Guangzhou, this will be our first choice again.

Pazhou Hotel (Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center Modiesha Metro Station)

I booked this hotel last-minute for a business trip mainly because of the affordable rate, and honestly, I was expecting something basic or underwhelming. But it completely exceeded my expectations! The bed is just the right firmness—not too soft that you sink into it, not too hard either. It’s perfectly balanced, and the pillows are great too—neither too fluffy nor too high, providing excellent support. To be honest, I slept better here than in some so-called five-star hotels I’ve stayed at before. The room has a slightly vintage decor style, which gives it a unique charm rather than feeling outdated. Located just steps from Modiesha Metro Station, it’s super convenient to get to Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and overall, the value for money is outstanding. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in Guangzhou again.
