It was worth the effort. The only downside? The price is steep—nearly $400 per night—but honestly, given the location, service, and overall experience, it’s not unreasonable. The location is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, yet just steps away from the charming cafes and lively restaurants of Santa Teresa, which come alive both day and night. This neighborhood alone makes the trip worthwhile. Villa Laurinda truly stands out as a unique gem in Rio de Janeiro—a place that feels special from the moment you arrive, and one I’d happily return to again.

However, the highlight of our stay was the rooftop spa at their sister property in Arpoador. We had an incredible massage there—relaxing, professional, and worth every minute.
