Service stands out in every way: when I lost my ID after collecting luggage at the airport, the front desk guy immediately upgraded my room and comforted me. He also promised to send a mosquito repellent to my room—such thoughtful care! And upon arrival, staff members kindly carried my luggage upstairs. This level of service makes all the difference. I stumbled upon Banyan Tree Sanya while browsing and decided to book it on a whim—so glad I did. The resort is about 40–45 minutes from the airport, which isn’t super close, but the check-in experience made up for it: luggage was delivered straight to our room, and our room was conveniently located near the lobby—those staying farther away have access to shuttle service, which is a nice touch. The room itself was spacious and beautifully designed, with two huge floor-to-ceiling windows that flooded the space with natural light. There was a private pool (though we never got around to using it), and a cozy separate area perfect for dining or relaxing—great for keeping smells out of the main bedroom. The outdoor hot tub in the courtyard was a real highlight, and the hairdryer was a high-end Remington—solid choice, though a Dyson would’ve been the cherry on top given the price point. What really stood out was the nightly turndown service; it felt personal and thoughtful, clearly reflecting the brand’s commitment to luxury hospitality. Breakfast at Mingyue Restaurant was solid, but lunch didn’t quite match the standards I’ve come to expect from places like Mandarin Oriental or Langham’s fine-dining spots in Shanghai. The fitness center felt a bit dated—equipment was basic—but honestly, most guests aren’t here to work out. Outdoor jogging paths are excellent, though. And then there’s the private beach—this was the main reason I booked. The sand is pristine, the sea is crystal clear, and there’s a dedicated shaded pavilion where you can just lie back and enjoy the view. Perfection. Special shoutout to our villa manager—attentive, professional, and always ready to help. Every detail reflects the Banyan Tree promise of exceptional service. Truly unforgettable.

The location is absolutely fantastic—super convenient for getting around, with easy access to attractions and a peaceful, scenic neighborhood. Whether traveling for business or leisure, this hotel offers comfort and convenience in one. I especially want to thank Front Desk Manager Xiao Wang for the excellent room assignment and warm hospitality—it felt like being welcomed into a home away from home. I stayed here as a transit stop, but was pleasantly surprised by how close it is to Yemeng Long Beach, perfect for catching the sunset at the ideal viewing spot. Plus, there’s live acoustic music on weekends—such a nice touch that adds charm to the evening. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Sanya.

As a Black Diamond Partner, I can confidently say the resort’s scenery is absolutely breathtaking—endless blue sky meeting endless sea, truly unmatched. I’ve been here before three years ago and still remember the stunning infinity pool on the rooftop with its panoramic ocean view. This time around, as soon as we checked in, we headed straight up to the rooftop pool—just like old times. The view? Pure magic. It’s exactly what you imagine when you think of 'living by the sea.' Our entire stay was taken care of by Zoe, who was attentive, warm, and always ready to help. But it wasn’t just her—every department we interacted with, from housekeeping and front desk to concierge, pool staff, photography team, and even maintenance (if I missed anyone, my apologies!), made us feel genuinely welcomed and cherished. And then there’s the food—especially the local Hou’an noodles. Rich, flavorful, perfectly cooked—this dish deserves to be a signature on the menu. From the views to the service to the food, everything exceeded expectations. A perfect blend of comfort, charm, and authenticity. We’ll definitely be back.

Stayed at the 16th floor family room from December 31st to January 2nd for New Year’s celebration — what an amazing experience! The room was spacious, clean, and quiet with no musty smell, featuring a huge double bed and a single bed that made sleeping super comfortable. Though there’s no balcony, the view from the window was stunning — distant mountains, city streets, and a glimpse of Dadaohai Bay all in one frame. The bathtub was large and spotless, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. The on-site restaurant on the 5th floor served breakfast from 7 AM to 1:30 PM, offering an incredible variety — everything from local Chinese dishes to Western options, fresh fruits, desserts, coffee, and juices. Dining on the open-air terrace was a highlight; enjoying morning meals while watching the beach and sea breeze was pure bliss. There was also a cute photo booth area near the entrance where guests could try on traditional Hanfu or Tang-style outfits — great fun for families and Instagram lovers alike. The 6th floor features a stylish infinity pool that’s definitely Instagram-worthy, plus a well-equipped gym. Free shuttle service to Dadaohai Beach is available, but it’s just a 5-minute walk too — super convenient. Right across from the lobby is Da Boluo Mall, and don’t miss the must-try Zuo Po Chou hotpot on the 3rd floor — spicy, sour, and unforgettable. When I needed a late check-out due to personal reasons, the front desk staff member named Wenmingyi went above and beyond to help me extend by two hours. Her kindness and professionalism truly made my stay memorable. 10/10 experience!

Everything was clean and well-maintained, from the bathroom to the living area. The pool is lovely, shaded and large enough for a swim or just lounging around. I especially appreciated the self-service laundry—super convenient for longer stays. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The location is ideal if you're attending events nearby—the venue is just a short ride away, and it's also close to the beach. It’s a bit farther from the duty-free shopping area, but that didn’t bother me at all. Overall, an excellent stay with top-notch comfort and value. Would definitely come back!
