Staying at this spacious three-bedroom condo in downtown Vancouver was an absolute delight. The location couldn’t be better—just steps from a large Chinese supermarket where we could easily grab everything we needed. The unit was spotless, bright, and well-organized, with plenty of room for our group of three women—each of us had our own private bedroom, making the stay incredibly comfortable. Even with two couples and kids, there’d still be enough space. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook meals, perfect for longer stays or settling in like locals. What really stood out was the host—a friendly, responsible Chinese gentleman who went above and beyond. He kept in touch via WeChat throughout our trip, offering helpful tips and guidance. On checkout day, he even drove us personally to the cruise terminal—such thoughtful service! This place is ideal for families, friends, or anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great value. I’ll definitely book here again on my next visit to Vancouver.

Staying at Samesun Vancouver's first-floor female dorm was a fantastic experience! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown, making it super easy to explore everything on foot or by public transit. The lobby is bright, clean, and welcoming, with staff who are genuinely friendly and full of energy—always ready to help with tips or just a chat. Breakfast included bagels and fresh fruit, and coffee and tea were available all day long—perfect for starting the morning right. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you’d need for self-catering, which is great for saving money. I did notice some ambient noise from the speakers in the common area and footsteps upstairs at night, but it didn’t affect my sleep at all. Hot water was plentiful, and the Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable. Overall, this place offers incredible value for money—great for budget travelers who want comfort, convenience, and a social vibe without breaking the bank.

It's truly disappointing to see a property with heritage status allowed to deteriorate so badly. There are multiple holes in the roof, the yard and garden are completely neglected, and the surrounding area shows no signs of maintenance. Water pressure is weak, and the temperature control is inconsistent—during winter, the heating isn’t sufficient, making it necessary to wear a jacket just to stay warm. It’s clear the owners don’t care much about the property, let alone guest comfort. Yet they’re still happy to take your money. Avoid this place—your money would be better spent elsewhere. The condition is only going to get worse, and more complaints will follow. Eventually, the City of Vancouver may be forced to shut it down, which it absolutely should. This isn’t a proper B&B anymore—it’s a warning sign.

Just a short walk from the SkyTrain station—only a few meters away—and with multiple bus stops nearby, getting around Vancouver is so convenient. I took the 19 bus straight to Stanley Park and arrived in no time. The hostel itself is clean, well-maintained, and offers a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the whole stay stress-free. If you're looking for a budget-friendly, central place to stay in Vancouver, this is definitely a top choice.

Whether you're exploring downtown or heading out on a day trip, this hostel offers both comfort and convenience at a fantastic value. Highly recommend for budget travelers and solo explorers alike.

I stayed at this hostel and was really impressed overall. The place is quiet and spotlessly clean, making it a peaceful retreat after a long day exploring Vancouver. It's a bit of a walk from downtown, but the route is pleasant and well-lit, and the location is still convenient for public transit. I appreciated the free luggage storage—perfect for early check-ins or late departures. With such a great atmosphere, excellent cleanliness, and a smart price point, this is definitely one of the best budget-friendly options in the city. I’d stay here again without hesitation.

Diana's Luxury Bed and Breakfast
I rarely leave reviews, but after a four-day stay at Diana's Luxury B&B, I felt compelled to warn others. This place couldn’t be further from luxury—it’s more like a cluttered storage unit than a home. Every inch of floor and wall space is packed with cheap, mass-market knickknacks—let’s be honest, they’re not even decorative, just messy. No air conditioning forced the host to keep steel shutters closed all day, making the interior stuffy and eerie. The bed was uncomfortable, with low-quality bedding that caused back pain each morning—plus, the sheets were mismatched and stained with bleach marks. Breakfast was worse: a hard-boiled egg, dry bread, a small yogurt, and half a fruit. Minimal, unappetizing, and uninspired. Even the spreads—jam, peanut butter, etc.—were in large jars reused over and over by countless guests. It’s gross, honestly. We paid a lot for four nights, and it completely ruined our trip. I truly feel cheated. Please think twice before booking here—there are far better, more comfortable, and hygienic options available at a fraction of the cost. Don’t waste your money or time.
