This is hands down the most incredible jungle hotel I've ever stayed at—no exaggeration. The moment you step onto the property, you're immersed in a serene, lush tropical paradise. Free bikes and kayaks let you explore the surrounding rainforest and crystal-clear waters at your own pace, and the cenote adventure tours are unforgettable. While there's only one restaurant nearby (and prices are a bit on the high side), the food quality and setting make it worth it—especially dining by the pool at sunset. The whole experience feels special, authentic, and deeply relaxing. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with a touch of adventure, this place delivers everything. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa
The resort overall was an excellent experience—beautiful setting, great location, and friendly staff. However, there were a few areas that could use improvement. Several restaurants only opened on a rotating basis, with just two available daily, so we couldn’t try all the dining options. That said, it’s disappointing for a property of this caliber. More concerning was the cleanliness issue near our room—guests from the adjacent unit kept ordering meals, and leftover food was left in the hallway for days. A fork remained on the stairs for four full days with no one picking it up. The poolside snack bar served burgers and light bites for one day but was completely closed for two others while we were at the pool. Instead of service, we found scattered food remnants where birds were feeding, and no staff appeared to clean up. Only late in the afternoon did someone show up to collect the trash—but they didn’t even wipe down the counters or clean the grills. These lapses are hard to overlook for a resort that markets itself as top-tier. Despite these shortcomings, the rest of the stay was fantastic. With tighter operational oversight, this place could easily be flawless.

I’d definitely return and recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm, comfortable stay in Tulum.

But what really made the trip special was the staff—they went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service. Every interaction felt genuine and welcoming, like being cared for by friends. It’s rare to find such hospitality, and it left a lasting impression. I’d happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tulum.
Lobo Inn Tulum
I’m not usually one to give a one-star rating, but as someone who owns vacation rentals across four countries, I have high expectations. The property itself was clean and pleasant enough. However, what really stood out was how indifferent the owners seemed. There were absolutely no signs to guide guests—extremely hard to find. Once I finally located the place, nobody was available to check me in. It was sweltering outside, and I ended up waiting over 30 minutes before someone showed up. To make matters worse, there was an unexpected $50 charge. I sent a screenshot of my Visa statement to the manager, only to get a reply saying, 'Our processor doesn’t show that fee.' But clearly, the hotel is listed as the payee, and two other charges are correctly reflected. How could this happen? I explained that disputing the charge would trigger Citibank to freeze my card and issue a replacement—but since I live in Mexico, it would take five weeks to get a new one. That’s a huge hassle. Thankfully, Citibank understood the situation and credited the $50 today. Still, this whole experience was a major time-waster for someone with a packed schedule. If you’re looking for a stress-free stay, this isn’t the place. You decide.

Everything is spotless, secure, and well-maintained—immediately giving you a sense of comfort and peace of mind. While breakfast isn’t provided, the highlight is definitely the lovely rooftop terrace and the fully equipped kitchen, which includes all the essentials for cooking your own meals. It’s a great option if you want to save money and enjoy a more local experience. Located just steps away from the heart of Tulum’s main attractions, it’s easy to explore on foot or by bike. Plus, free street parking is available right outside—huge plus for travelers with a car. This place feels like a true home away from home, and I’d happily come back again.

The apartment was in superb condition with incredibly comfortable bedding—sleeping here was a true delight. The pool is right outside the door, and despite being so close to nature, it's remarkably quiet, far from the noisy beach clubs. They also handed us a well-curated list of activities and restaurants at reception, which made planning our days so easy. This place felt like a hidden gem—perfect for travelers seeking tranquility, comfort, and a genuine connection to the region. A truly wonderful discovery that exceeded all expectations.

I've stayed here before in 2021, and returning this time was a real delight. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Tulum pueblo, steps away from shops, cafes, and local vibes, yet still tucked away in a peaceful, quiet corner. What truly impressed me was the massive upgrade in cleanliness—every corner of the building, from reception to kitchen and all three floors, is spotless. It’s clear the team has put serious effort into improving the space. The warm and welcoming hospitality continues to shine, especially when it’s the couple running the hostel—they make you feel right at home. And the breakfast? Still outstanding—different every day, creative, and full of flavor. This place offers one of the best value-for-money experiences in Tulum. A must-stay if you’re looking for comfort, charm, and authenticity.

Caleta Tankah is an absolute gem of a beach club with a pristine stretch of sand and a stunning natural cenote just steps away—perfect for swimming and taking those Instagram-worthy photos. The loungers are well-spaced and comfortable, and the restrooms are clean and well-maintained, which always makes a big difference. Entry is 300 pesos, and while outside food and drinks aren’t allowed, the on-site menu offers solid options—especially the burger with fries, which was surprisingly delicious: juicy meat, crispy fries, and great value for the price. That said, families should budget around €100 per day if you’re planning to eat and drink here. Still, considering the vibe, location, and overall experience, it’s definitely worth it for a relaxing, carefree day by the sea. A must-visit if you're in Tulum looking for a laid-back yet luxurious beach escape.
Andreas Tulum Hotel
The hotel was completely closed upon arrival with no staff or communication available. I had already paid in advance, but there's been no response regarding a refund. It's extremely frustrating to book a stay only to find the property inaccessible and unresponsive. The lack of support from the platform has made the entire experience disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially given the lack of basic service and transparency.
