When I arrived early, they managed to check me in immediately if a room was available (which it was!), and every request was handled promptly and with genuine care. Their warm smiles and thoughtful touches, like fresh welcome fruit that was sweet and delicious, made a real difference. One of the biggest surprises? They provide free tide-pooling gear! With the electric cart taking you straight to the beach entrance, I was able to head down and explore the tidal pools without any hassle. The hotel itself has a beautiful Balinese-inspired design with a real sense of style. It directly overlooks Xiaodonghai Beach, so we could walk straight into the sea. The pool area is stunning and peaceful. Our ocean-view room had a private balcony with breathtaking views—this morning, I even caught a sunrise while heading to the bathroom (what luck!). Breakfast was more extensive than most reviews suggest—while not mind-blowing in flavor, everything was fresh and varied, definitely not bad at all.
