This time we decided to try a different area of Mazatlán instead of our usual spot in Zona Dorada, and we were pleasantly surprised. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and super convenient—just a short walk to the yacht departure point. When we returned, we noticed a brand-new bar/nightclub right across the street called Sala de Despecho, which turned out to be a perfect spot for some fun just steps from the hotel. The location, vibe, and overall experience made this stay a standout. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a relaxed yet lively atmosphere with easy access to local nightlife.

Staying at Zafiro Beach Boutique Resort was a delightful experience overall. The room was spotlessly clean, and the housekeeping staff went above and beyond with their warm and attentive service—especially the housekeeper, who made us feel truly welcome. It’s an excellent choice for families seeking comfort and convenience. That said, the pool area could use some attention: missing tiles, broken grates, and a few missing water outlets were noticeable. While these issues didn’t ruin the stay, they’re worth addressing to maintain the resort’s high standard. Despite that, the beachfront location is stunning, the atmosphere relaxed, and the staff consistently friendly. Would definitely recommend and consider returning.
