The staff were incredibly friendly and the buffet was delicious—definitely a highlight of our stay. The only downside was that Sunset Palace was undergoing renovations, but we weren’t informed in advance. We ended up asking around outside and were eventually directed to the Ocean Palace, which is part of the same brand. They welcomed us warmly and made the transition smooth. While the lack of notice was a bit frustrating, the excellent service at the alternative property turned it into a positive experience. Overall, the value and hospitality more than made up for it—highly recommend!

Also, the in-room safe didn’t work properly. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel offered great value for money, clean rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. The Wi-Fi was consistently fast and reliable. The only minor downside was the music coming from Gus Gus restaurant across the street—it played late into the night. Honestly, the tunes were great and we enjoyed them until 11 PM, but some guests had trouble sleeping past their usual bedtime. If you're sensitive to noise, bring earplugs—you’ll be fine. Overall, this place offers fantastic value and a truly memorable stay. I’d absolutely come back.
