I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Barcelona and was thoroughly impressed from the moment I arrived. What stood out most was the unbeatable location; just a short walk or quick metro ride from major attractions like the Arc de Triomf and the Gothic Quarter. The staff went above and beyond with their friendly, welcoming attitude—always ready to help with recommendations or directions. And let’s talk about dining: there are so many amazing restaurants and local eateries right outside the door. I even snapped a photo of the Arc de Triomf from the street! Honestly, this place offers incredible value for money. I’ve already recommended it to friends and will definitely be returning if I ever come back to Barcelona.

This was by far our best stay during the entire trip. The hotel is incredibly clean, and while it's a bit outside the city center, its proximity to Camp Nou makes it perfect for FC Barcelona fans. The rooms are spacious, and the bed was absolutely heavenly—so comfortable that we barely wanted to get out of it. The overall experience was outstanding, and we’d definitely come back. Great value for money and easy access to public transit if you want to explore the city.

AC Hotel Irla
The room is on the smaller side, but surprisingly well-equipped with everything you'd need. It's not marketed very effectively—like how we accidentally discovered they offer a hot breakfast where eggs can be cooked exactly to your preference. We also found out they sell tickets to the Picasso Museum, something we would’ve definitely taken advantage of if we’d known earlier. These perks were never clearly advertised. The water restrictions in the room could be a bit more relaxed—better yet, provide a branded reusable water bottle for guests. But overall, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay much more enjoyable.
Aparthotel Atenea Calabria
Staying at Aparthotel Atenea Calabria was an absolute delight—far beyond expectations. The layout is smart, with plenty of charging outlets throughout the apartment—perfect for travelers with multiple devices. The kitchenette is a real plus, especially since there’s a large supermarket right next door where we could easily pick up groceries for home-cooked meals. It’s great for families or anyone who wants to cook their own food. Despite being an apartment-style stay, daily cleaning service is provided, which keeps everything tidy and hygienic. Comfortable, convenient, and beautifully designed—this place offers excellent value. I’d definitely recommend it and would stay here again without hesitation.

Staying at Umma Barcelona B&B Boutique was a really pleasant experience overall. The only minor hiccup was that the front desk closes at 5:30 PM, which could be tricky if you arrive later—though they send clear instructions ahead of time, so it’s not a big issue. The continental breakfast was solid: fresh coffee, bread, and simple but satisfying options. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English, making check-in and communication easy. My only small frustration was getting the TV to work, but since I don’t watch much TV anyway, it didn’t bother me much. What really stood out was the location—walking distance to the metro and plenty of great local eateries nearby. It’s a quiet, well-located spot with a nice vibe. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Barcelona.

Even though it’s on the pricier side, the location, amenities, and quality of stay make it worth every euro. I’d definitely return if I’m visiting Barcelona again.

Staying at Catalonia Castellnou was an absolute highlight of my Barcelona trip.
