Everything you need—restaurants, shopping, convenience stores—is literally around the corner. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and efficient; even though we arrived early, they went the extra mile to secure us a room promptly. The bellhop and housekeeping team were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel truly welcome. Our room was larger than expected, with a sleek modern minimalist design, spotless cleanliness, and incredibly comfortable bedding—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom features a well-designed wet/dry separation, and the water pressure and temperature were consistently excellent. Bonus points for the complimentary minibar and fast, reliable Wi-Fi. Breakfast was a highlight—diverse options blending Chinese and Western favorites, all freshly prepared and delicious. The pool area is fantastic: clean water, well-maintained, and perfect for a refreshing swim—ideal for someone who enjoys swimming. Breakfast leaned slightly toward Western style, but the quality of ingredients and presentation were excellent. Staff were courteous and warm throughout the morning, and I appreciated the complimentary member treats—like the pork siu mai pastry, which was deliciously flaky and flavorful. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. This was a memorable stay, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. A solid five-star experience from start to finish.

The location is unbeatable—just steps from Haizhu Square Metro Station, making it super easy to explore Beijing Road Pedestrian Street and nearby attractions. The self-service breakfast is simple but satisfying, with warm options and fresh drinks. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and good value without the high price tag.

There are plenty of nearby clothing markets, perfect for picking up some trendy outfits without needing to go far. The area is also full of great local eateries—I highly recommend the Bangladeshi restaurants just a short walk away; the food is delicious and authentic. I especially appreciate the complimentary breakfast and free access to laundry machines, which is such a bonus for longer stays. One standout feature is the old-style whirlpool bathtub, which feels like it came from another era, but honestly, it works fine and adds a unique charm. Cleanliness is top-notch—the staff clearly takes pride in their work, leaving no corner untouched. Despite being in the heart of Guangzhou, the surroundings are surprisingly quiet and peaceful, making it an ideal retreat after a long day. The service was warm and welcoming too—especially the complimentary breakfast voucher, which, though not used, felt like a thoughtful gesture that made the stay feel more personal. A truly memorable place with excellent value.

Staying at this hotel was a real highlight of my trip to Guangzhou. The location is unbeatable—just a 3-minute walk from Dongshankou Metro Station, with Line 1 and Line 6 providing easy access to anywhere in the city. The area itself is vibrant and full of trendy boutiques, cafes, and street food, making it perfect for exploring on foot. What really stood out was the free parking—something many hotels in the area don’t offer. Having hassle-free access to a spot throughout my stay made all the difference. The property has a bit of character and history, so the rooms aren’t brand new, but everything is well-maintained and functional. I’d recommend upgrading to a newer room or suite if possible—the views and space are worth it. Despite the compact size, the room had all the essentials, including traditional Chinese tea sets for brewing your own tea. The window view was stunning, offering panoramic views of Guangzhou’s night skyline. It’s also incredibly close to the Pearl River for evening walks or boat tours. Breakfast was complimentary and delicious—fresh, local flavors, with authentic Cantonese dim sum and stir-fries available at the on-site restaurant.
