Right across the street is Lao Siji Noodle House—a local favorite with delicious, authentic food just steps away. Plus, getting to Shenyang North Railway Station via metro is quick and easy. This place offers fantastic value and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Shenyang. Highly recommend!

Ideal B&B (Shenyang Zhongjie Branch)

Staying at Ideal B&B (Shenyang Zhongjie Branch) was a great experience—definitely worth the 10/10 rating! The amenities were thoughtfully designed and had a unique charm, though check-in was slightly more complicated than expected. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout, which made up for any minor hiccups. Room cleanliness was average—unfortunately, I found an empty cigarette pack left behind in the closet by the previous guest. That said, the overall environment was pleasant, especially the large bathtub, though I didn’t get to use it during my stay. One of the highlights? The pet-friendly policy—my dog was welcome, and that made a big difference for our trip. Located inside the Daye Cheng shopping mall, parking is available in the same complex but costs ¥30 per day. However, you can redeem free parking using Daye Cheng points or purchase prepaid parking vouchers if needed. It’s a convenient option for visitors who drive. Overall, great value, excellent service, and a cozy vibe—highly recommend this spot for future stays!

Nuanjuge Homestay

Staying at Nuanjuge Homestay was an absolute delight! The place is incredibly well-equipped with all essentials, including a full set of toiletries—everything you could need. I was especially thrilled to witness the first snowfall in Northeast China, which added such a magical touch to my trip. Dining options are plentiful nearby—there’s no shortage of great restaurants within walking distance. It’s just a 3-minute walk to the Palace Museum and Zhang Zuolin Mansion, and from the front door, you can see the historic mansion’s iconic buildings. A 10-15 minute stroll brings you to Zhongjie (Central Street), while Dadao Supermarket is also close by. I even visited the Xiaoheyan Morning Market—such a vibrant local experience. The hosts went above and beyond by providing two bottles of water—small but thoughtful gestures like this make a big difference. The heating system is excellent; I wore just a short-sleeve shirt without turning on the AC and still felt perfectly warm. Even better: the room had glow-in-the-dark stickers for easy navigation at night—super helpful when checking in late. The location couldn’t be better—peaceful neighborhood, spotless rooms, fresh linens, and a mattress that offered just the right balance of softness and support. I slept through the night without disturbance. The south-facing windows let in abundant sunlight, and the air feels clean and refreshing. My parents were equally impressed—the warmth and hospitality of Northeastern locals really shine through. Food here is fantastic too—I actually gained two pounds from all the delicious meals! Plus, it’s super convenient for visiting Liu Laogen Grand Theater and Central Street. One of the most appreciated perks? Free luggage storage, which made my travel plans so much easier. If you’re looking for comfort, charm, and a truly authentic stay in Shenyang, this is the place. Highly recommended!

I stayed at Jinyang Hotel Shenyang (Middle Street Forbidden City) for one night and was truly impressed. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing break. The owner was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to share local recommendations, including must-try street food and nearby attractions. He even helped us plan our day, making the experience feel personal and thoughtful. Located just steps from Zhongjie Street and the Forbidden City, it’s super convenient for exploring the city center. Public transport is easily accessible, and there are plenty of dining options and convenience stores nearby. With excellent value, top-notch cleanliness, and warm hospitality, this hotel stands out. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shenyang—highly recommend!
