The service exceeded expectations from the very beginning: as I arrived at Dianchi Road, a staff member was already waiting by the door. After confirming I was a guest, he immediately took my luggage and carried it inside, guiding me through check-in with a friendly smile. Despite arriving during peak check-in time around 3 PM, there was no chaos or long lines—everything was smooth and efficient. Even more impressive? My bags never touched my hands again—they were taken straight up in the elevator to my room. That’s what true luxury service looks like. Special shoutout to Guest Experience Manager Billy Liang, who went above and beyond when he learned about my parents’ anniversary visit. He personally delivered a birthday cake, arranged a reservation at the rooftop Longfeng Hall, and even made sure they enjoyed live classic jazz music at the hotel bar. He even snapped a sweet photo for them to cherish. My parents were truly touched and said it was one of the most memorable trips of their lives. We stayed at Broadway Mansions Hotel to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday—her 90th year in the lunar calendar, a milestone we wanted to mark with something meaningful. Instead of going to Sanya for winter sun this year, we chose this iconic Shanghai landmark to reconnect with the city’s timeless charm. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Special thanks to Manager Shen and Front Desk Manager Huang for their thoughtful arrangements and warm attention throughout our visit. Every department—from concierge to room service and dining—was attentive, courteous, and genuinely caring. The breakfast on the second floor offered a fantastic mix of Chinese and Western options, and on weekends, it even runs until 10:30, perfect for guests who like to take their time. The afternoon tea on the 14th floor was simply delightful—elegant pastries paired with excellent coffee, and in the evening, the happy hour brought unexpected treats like smoked salmon and savory meat skewers, which were a real highlight. The room itself wasn’t flashy, but it was cozy, clean, and well-designed. What truly stood out? The view. From the window, you can witness the sunrise over the Bund, enjoy golden-hour reflections on the Suzhou River, and catch glimpses of historic buildings—the old Russian Consulate and the former foreign trade association site at The Bund's Origins. Standing there, it felt like time had paused just for a moment. It stirred deep emotions and reminded me how much has changed—and how much remains beautiful. They’ve switched from the iconic red rose to pink—one of my favorite touches, but I still prefer the classic red for its bold, elegant look. On check-out, we were pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful gift from the front desk—such a nice touch! We only noticed later in the listing that they also offer late-night porridge, but sadly we didn’t get one (maybe we just forgot to ask?). Still, this didn’t take away from the overall amazing experience. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and well-appointed, and the location couldn’t be better. Definitely worth staying again if I’m back in Shanghai.

Even with high demand at The Club Lounge, staff still offered gracious, low-bow service to members—such a nice touch. The welcome fruit and breakfast were both delicious and well-prepared. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking. The Bund skyline is stunning day or night—definitely worth every moment spent by the window. I’ve already taken countless photos and can’t wait to come back. This hotel delivers on all fronts—perfect for travelers seeking luxury, comfort, and unforgettable scenery.
