Staying at Baiyoke Sky Hotel Bangkok was an absolutely unforgettable experience—truly one of the best hotel stays I've had in Thailand. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the airport line station, though the path isn’t perfectly paved, so hauling luggage can be a bit tricky. But once you arrive, the entrance may have stairs, but the elevator shoots straight to the 18th-floor lobby, and it’s fast and smooth. Even before check-in, staff were already helping with our bags—such a welcoming touch. We paid a 2,000 THB deposit upon arrival, which felt fair given the service level. Our room was on the 65th floor—the Sky Suite—spacious, with panoramic views that stretched across the entire city skyline. The bathroom was large, had a standalone bathtub, strong water pressure, and all the essentials were provided, including bottled water. While the interior decor feels a bit dated, cleanliness was impeccable throughout. Breakfast was a highlight: we took the elevator up to the 77th floor, then transferred to either the 78th or 81st floor for a multi-level buffet spread. The layout is circular and spacious, so no crowding, and the international selection was varied and abundant. However, the menu stayed mostly unchanged over three days, which made it feel a bit repetitive. There's also an outdoor seating area where you can relax and enjoy the view. We booked a full-body massage at the 20th floor—60 minutes for just 700 THB—and it was deeply relaxing. For something quick, the foot massage at the 69th floor (30 minutes for 300 THB) was perfect. The rooftop revolving observation deck is stunning, especially at sunset. And one of the biggest perks? A huge, free luggage storage facility on the top floor—ideal for storing bags before check-in or after checkout. This hotel truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and value. I’d definitely return.

On the other side, Chulalongkorn Night Market is just a short 10-minute walk away, perfect for evening strolls and local eats. The room quality is solid, and I especially loved the rooftop fitness center and infinity pool on the 11th floor—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful; I accidentally lost my key card, and they replaced it for free without any hassle. Even on checkout day, storing luggage was super convenient. Overall, this place delivers amazing value, comfort, and service—highly recommend!

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this property. The cleanliness was appalling—bed linens were visibly dirty and caused severe itching after sleeping on them. Despite reporting the issue, the response was slow and unsatisfactory, and even getting a full refund took much longer than expected. The overall condition of the rooms suggested years without proper cleaning. The location near the river is nice in theory, but the surrounding area is noisy and unclean. It's hard to believe such a place made it onto any booking platform, especially given the lack of basic hygiene standards. I’d strongly advise travelers to think twice before choosing this hotel—your experience could be just as frustrating as mine.

On the second floor, free coffee, tea, and water are available 24/7, plus there’s a paid laundry machine, massage chair, and treadmill—great for guests who want to stay active during their stay. I also appreciated the option to book day trips right at reception. Breakfast costs 150 THB but is worth it—fresh and filling. Yes, there are some late-night street activities nearby, but the area remains safe, especially with the convenience of a 7-Eleven open late. With so many international travelers around, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. This place offers fantastic value and a memorable experience—I’ll definitely be back.
