Staying at W Bangkok was an absolute highlight of my trip to Bangkok. The hotel feels spacious and luxurious, with a huge courtyard parking area that makes it easy for both private transfers and Grab rides to drop off or pick up. The rooftop pool is deep enough (130 cm) for families and friends to enjoy comfortably—perfect for kids and adults alike. The pool bar and gym are open 24/7, so I could unwind with a drink in the evening while chatting with friends, soaking in the relaxed vibe. Next to the hotel, there’s a stunning-looking rooftop castle building with afternoon tea available—regrettably, our schedule was too tight to try it, but definitely on my list for next time. The gym is well-equipped, and I loved doing a pre-bed strength session—really satisfying. Hot water pressure is excellent, rooms are generously sized, and the bathroom amenities feel premium. The bathtub can easily fit two people, perfect for a romantic soak. I booked the package including breakfast and dinner, and the breakfast buffet was incredible—wide variety, fresh, and filling. After a full day out exploring, returning around 8–9 PM for dinner felt like a treat. Dinner is served as a set meal with options, and I appreciated that they offered non-spicy alternatives when I mentioned I couldn’t eat spicy food due to a sore throat. Not only did they adjust the menu the next day, but they also added three new main dishes—now offering six choices total. The service was prompt, thoughtful, and truly reflects the W standard. Special thanks to the Chinese-speaking front desk staff who relayed my request to the chef so quickly. The doorman was not only handsome but incredibly attentive, always greeting guests with a smile and offering helpful suggestions. Overall, this stay delivered exceptional value with all-you-can-eat breakfast, top-tier service, and a memorable atmosphere. This hotel is an absolute gem! The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk to the Saphan Taksin MRT station, and within a 10-minute stroll you're in the heart of Siam shopping district. MKB, Siam Discovery, Platinum Fashion Mall, CentralWorld—all are right there, plus you can easily access the Siam BTS station too. On the other side, Chulalongkorn Night Market is just a short 10-minute walk away, perfect for evening strolls and local eats. The room quality is solid, and I especially loved the rooftop fitness center and infinity pool on the 11th floor—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful; I accidentally lost my key card, and they replaced it for free without any hassle. Even on checkout day, storing luggage was super convenient. Overall, this place delivers amazing value, comfort, and service—highly recommend!
Arpo Pool Villa Riverside Bangkok
I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this property. The cleanliness was appalling—bed linens were visibly dirty and caused severe itching after sleeping on them. Despite reporting the issue, the response was slow and unsatisfactory, and even getting a full refund took much longer than expected. The overall condition of the rooms suggested years without proper cleaning. The location near the river is nice in theory, but the surrounding area is noisy and unclean. It's hard to believe such a place made it onto any booking platform, especially given the lack of basic hygiene standards. I’d strongly advise travelers to think twice before choosing this hotel—your experience could be just as frustrating as mine.
