Staying at this hotel was a great experience! It's incredibly close to the south gate of Jinan University, making it super convenient whether you're walking or taking the subway. I booked a room away from Huangpu Avenue, and it was wonderfully quiet—no traffic noise at all, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Plus, I got a free room upgrade, which was a nice surprise. The room was spacious and comfortable, offering excellent value for money. Breakfast options were decent, but could be improved with more fresh-made noodles, rice noodles, or wonton soup. Also, the air conditioning didn’t have a heating function, so it felt chilly during colder hours—just something to note if visiting in winter. Overall, though, the location, comfort, and service made this stay highly enjoyable. Definitely planning to return!

The staff in the restaurant were incredibly warm and welcoming, especially one of the ladies preparing meals; her cheerful attitude really lifted the mood during our stay. However, the cleaning staff left much to be desired—seen scrolling through their phone with headphones on while tidying up, and even hiding fruit and claiming it was gone, as if we were supposed to take it back! It felt a bit unprofessional. Despite that small issue, the overall experience was excellent. The location, comfort, and friendly service make this a great choice for travelers looking for value and convenience.

It’s perfectly balanced, and the pillows are great too—neither too fluffy nor too high, providing excellent support. To be honest, I slept better here than in some so-called five-star hotels I’ve stayed at before. The room has a slightly vintage decor style, which gives it a unique charm rather than feeling outdated. Located just steps from Modiesha Metro Station, it’s super convenient to get to Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and overall, the value for money is outstanding. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in Guangzhou again.

Guangzhou Yuexiangjia Apartment
Located just a two-minute walk from Nanfang Third Hospital, this apartment is incredibly convenient for medical visits or follow-ups—perfectly situated for anyone needing frequent access to the hospital. I stayed here as a solo traveler and chose the single room, which was excellent both times I’ve visited—both trips were specifically for appointments at the nearby hospital. The facilities are well-maintained and surprisingly clean for a shared-style accommodation. The mattress and bedding were comfortable, and the curtain by the bed provided good privacy when closed. There’s also a built-in washing machine under the sink—very handy for laundry needs. One small suggestion: adding a non-slip mat just outside the bathroom door would make things safer, as water tends to pool after showers. Without personal slippers, wearing disposable ones can be slippery and potentially hazardous. Service was outstanding—any request was met with prompt help. After surgery, I had limited mobility, so the staff kindly arranged a lower bunk bed for me, which made a big difference. Free bottled water and basic toiletries were readily available upon request, and the team—front desk staff and manager alike—were warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. During my stay, it coincided with the Canton Fair, so I noticed several international guests around, giving the place a lively, multicultural vibe. Overall, my experience has been consistently positive. I’d definitely return if needed, and I truly hope the property continues to grow and thrive.
