Hollywood Hotel
Staying at Hollywood Hotel was an absolutely delightful experience overall. The property is immaculate, with clean and spacious rooms that felt both modern and cozy. I especially loved the room key—it’s so cute I actually brought it home as a souvenir! The only minor downside was one staff member (Spanish-speaking) who seemed rather unfriendly, which slightly dampened the mood. However, every other team member I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. Location-wise, the neighborhood isn’t the safest for walking around, and there aren’t many attractions within easy reach on foot. We rented a car, which made everything much more convenient—highly recommended if you don’t have access to transportation. That said, considering the great value, excellent service, and prime location near Hollywood landmarks, this hotel is definitely worth a stay.

This place really delivers on comfort, service, and location—definitely a top pick for future visits.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and welcoming. Breakfast was simple—just some bread—but it was sufficient if you're on a tight schedule. One thing worth noting is that my room faced a nearby high school, so it was quiet and peaceful throughout the night. Dining and shopping are super convenient: just steps away from a fantastic Mexican restaurant with authentic flavors and generous portions, plus a huge 7-Eleven right next door for late-night snacks or essentials. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the CBD area, but if you take the 16 bus, you can get there directly without transfers—super easy and time-saving. For travelers who value location, comfort, and value, this hotel delivers all three.

I especially appreciated the coffee maker at the desk along with complimentary travel mugs—such a thoughtful touch! Breakfast was simple but satisfying, offering fresh juice, coffee, eggs, bacon, and fruit—all the essentials to start the day right. Great value for money and highly recommend this property for both business and leisure travelers.

First day in LA, and staying at this InterContinental was an absolute surprise! I was assigned to the 61st floor with a stunning city view—so much better than expected. The location is perfect: walking distance to convenience stores and fast food spots, and public transit is just around the corner. Sadly, my tight schedule meant I didn’t get to enjoy the pool, but the amenities throughout the hotel are top-notch. What really stood out was the value for money—this price for a high-floor room with such great views? Definitely worth it. A small downside: the lobby is on the 70th floor, so you have to take the elevator up there first, then go down to your room—slightly inconvenient. Also, valet parking comes with an extra fee of about $80 per night, which pushes the total cost close to $250 for the room alone. Still, despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience was fantastic. I’d absolutely stay here again.
