Staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile was an absolute highlight of my trip! I used the Chicago City Pass, and the hotel’s location is perfect—so many attractions are just a short walk away, from shopping to iconic landmarks. If you're driving, I highly recommend booking parking through SpotHero instead of relying on in-hotel parking; it's more affordable and easier to manage. The hotel’s front doors open right into a lively area with nearby options like Hollands Foods—great for quick, budget-friendly meals. Breakfast was solid, with a good variety of hot and cold items. The only minor downside? Cell reception isn’t always strong, probably due to the building’s height and thick walls, but it didn’t ruin the experience. I originally planned to stay just one night, but the convenience and vibe were so great that I extended my stay by another night. If you're visiting Chicago and want a central, hassle-free base with excellent access to everything, this hotel is a top choice.

The entire apartment was immaculately clean, down to the smallest detail, making it feel like a true home away from home. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was Katrina, the staff member who handled our booking. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail stood out—she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The location in the heart of Fulton Market is unbeatable, with easy access to amazing dining, shopping, and nightlife. If you're looking for a stylish, clean, and thoughtfully managed stay in Chicago, this is it—highly recommend!

We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway with my girlfriends at The Wheeler Mansion. From the moment we arrived, the elegance and charm of this boutique hotel set the tone for an unforgettable stay. Each room was uniquely decorated with distinctive artwork and vintage touches—no two spaces felt the same. The grand foyer and beautifully furnished living and dining areas made us feel like we’d stepped into a storybook. David, our concierge, went above and beyond—he was attentive, friendly, and even drove us to the theater for our show, Hairspray. He also recommended dinner at Pilsen Yards, which turned out to be one of the best meals of the trip: delicious food and top-notch service. We left feeling completely refreshed and inspired. I can’t wait to return, especially in summer when the grounds are in full bloom—just looking at the photos, it’s clear this place is even more magical in warmer weather.

This was our first visit to Chicago, and we absolutely fell in love with the city. We’ll admit, we were a bit unsure at first after reading some mixed reviews, but we’re so glad we kept our reservation. We especially appreciated the high-quality bedding, complimentary coffee, and the quiet, cozy atmosphere. The location is fantastic too—just a short walk from restaurants, shops, and the riverfront. It’s clear this hotel puts guest comfort first. We already know we’ll be back.

This was an absolutely fantastic stay! I’d definitely come back to this hotel on my next trip to Chicago. The rooms are spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a family getaway. The location is ideal: just minutes from downtown via public transit, making it super easy to explore the city. Highly recommend this hotel for families or anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Villa d'Citta! The location is perfect—nestled in a charming neighborhood of Chicago, just a short walk or transit ride from the city’s main attractions. While parking nearby can be tricky, we found a spot after a bit of patience, and overall, we were lucky to stay close to the hotel. The building itself is beautifully designed with a rustic-chic aesthetic that feels both warm and sophisticated. When we first arrived, we were surprised not to find a private bathroom inside our room—but upon contacting the host, we learned it was actually located on the hallway level, spacious and clean. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, with a great bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was outstanding—freshly prepared each morning with homemade pastries, fresh fruit, coffee, and more. It felt like a personal touch, not just a standard offering. Everything about this place felt thoughtfully curated. Highly recommend Villa d'Citta for travelers who value charm, comfort, and authenticity in their Chicago experience.

Staying here for three nights was a great experience overall. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Michigan Lake and convenient for getting around downtown Chicago via public transit. My room had a side view of the lake, which was absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning light. While the hotel is established with older-style decor, it’s well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The double-bed room was surprisingly spacious—perfect for four people without feeling cramped. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the value for money was excellent. Despite its vintage charm, the comfort and convenience make it a standout choice. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Chicago.

Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience, especially for business travelers. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from McCormick Place, making it easy to get to meetings or events without hassle. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which offered a good variety of options and helped start my day right. The fitness center was well-maintained and had everything I needed for a quick workout. Plus, the room had a nice view of the city skyline, adding a touch of charm to the stay. Clean, comfortable, and efficient—this place truly delivers on comfort and convenience. Definitely my go-to choice when visiting Chicago again.

The value for money here is absolutely outstanding. Located just a short walk from the subway, it’s incredibly convenient to get around downtown Chicago. The rooms are simple but clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and good sound insulation—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. What really stands out is the price: you’d be hard-pressed to find a better deal in this area. The staff are friendly and helpful throughout check-in and check-out, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. If you're visiting Chicago on a budget but still want a great stay without compromising on comfort or location, this hostel is a top pick.

I can't recommend this Holiday Inn Express Chicago - Magnificent Mile enough. The location is unbeatable—right across from Trader Joe's, so grocery shopping is a breeze. It's just a 7-8 minute walk to Trump Tower, and less than 20 minutes to Millennium Park. From there, it's only a few more minutes to the shores of Lake Michigan—perfect for a relaxing evening stroll. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived at 10 AM, and even though check-in wasn't available yet, they gladly stored our luggage at no extra cost. When we returned around 2:30 PM, we were told to wait about 25 minutes. But instead of leaving us waiting in limbo, the staff actually came to check on us—and discovered a room was already ready! They apologized and made sure we were taken care of right away. While the amenities aren't flashy, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. For the price and convenience, this place offers outstanding value. I’ll definitely be back if I ever visit Chicago again.
