We stayed for five nights and went on guided tours for three days, often leaving at 7 a.m. and returning as late as 8 p.m., so we barely had time to enjoy the meals included in our package. That’s roughly $400 per person per day going to waste! In reality, dining out for two people costs around $100 at local restaurants or even at the hotel’s à la carte options. If your itinerary is packed with excursions, you might save money by opting for pay-per-meal dining instead. Just something to consider before booking!

While the ocean had a fair amount of sargassum seaweed during our stay, which made swimming less ideal, the resort offers several well-maintained pools that were clean, inviting, and perfect for relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall ambiance was calm and welcoming. Despite the seaweed issue, the on-site amenities more than make up for it. We’d definitely return for a more beach-friendly season.
